A very nice episode of Superstars coming off WrestleMania 26 with two good tag matches and a nice singles match to elevate Yoshi Tatsu. The Hart Dynasty's babyface turn really didn't need to be explained and I'm glad to see WWE jumping right into establishing them as babyfaces and using the momentum from Bret Hart's association to get their babyface run lifted off the ground. The springboard Hart Attack is going to be way over soon enough and Kidd executes a nice Sharpshooter. I'm looking forward to a healthy tag title chase going after Miz and Big Show's tag belts. I've never really bought the Miz & Big Show tag team; they just look like two guys thrown together holding the belts. It's not like a tag team where you get the sense they hang out together on the road, talk strategy during the week, and bond as a unit.

MVP had a different air of authority to him during the tag match with Kofi Kingston against Zack Ryder & Carlito. MVP and Kofi could also be a good team to feature in the tag division depending on whether WWE has plans for separate singles runs or if they're split at the Draft. MVP has been on the cusp of being a solid main-eventer for so long and Kofi had a sniff of the main event scene before being pushed back down the ladder to the mid-card. Now is the time for WWE to seize an opportunity to elevate one or both going forward with some spots available post-WrestleMania. Should be interesting to see how things play out when WWE officially hits the reset button.

Jon Mezzera, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.0)

This was a good episode of Superstars. The wrestling action on this show tends to be solid to good. There are seldom bad matches. That was the case this week as all three of the matches were good. Kofi Kingston and Montel Vontavious Porter worked well together and showed some chemistry as a team which could be exploited in the future. I like that Croft & Barreta got some mic time before their match to reintroduce themselves to the fans. They have definite potential. I enjoyed their main event tag match against The Hart Dynasty. This worked to further establish Tyson Kidd and DH Smith as babyfaces.

My only complaint is that both NXT pros who appeared on the show lost their matches. Other than the few big stars on NXT, the rest of the pros have not been well protected. When Heath Slater beats Carlito, it really doesn't mean much when Carltio loses every match. William Regal lost to Yoshi Tatsu in a good match, but he should have won. Keep the NXT pros strong, and if they lose to a rookie, it will mean more. Also, their position as mentors would be strengthened if they had better win-loss records.

Greg Parks, Torch Columnist (7.0)

The opening match provided a solid start to the show. MVP and Kingston make a good tag-team, and I like WWE getting Zack Ryder involved with those two. Carlito as Ryder's partner doesn't make a ton of sense, since it doesn't appear the two have much in common. Yoshi vs. Regal wasn't as good as I expected, as their styles didn't mesh well. A win in the battle royal before Wrestlemania and another win here makes one wonder if WWE has any plans for Tatsu in the near future.

The main event tag of The Hart Dynasty vs. The Dudebusters (finally going by that name, it appears) was a fine end to the hour. Croft and Barreta show a lot of promise as a tag team; unfortunately, their upside seems limited if the tag division continues to get overlooked, as it has been for the past few years.
