By: Daniel Wilkenfeld, PWTorch Contributor

Last month's Genesis PPV looked a bit dull on paper, and managed to live down to expectations. This month has at least a little bit of intrigue, but still not much to hang your hat on. The main event features the odd booking decision of putting Team 3D in a title match as the main faces, only to then focus almost exclusively on the tension between heel Angle and tweener Sting. I don't really get the reasoning, but it could turn out to be something interesting. If this PPV is worth getting though, it's probably for an undercard that looks like it at least should have some solid action.

Daniel's YTD = 10/15 = .666
Rachael's YTD = 7/13 = .538

Sting (c) vs. Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon vs. Kurt Angle
World Heavyweight Championship Match

Where We've Been:
About a month ago, The Main Event Mafia, led by Kurt Angle, ambushed Brother Ray, as Sting walked away. Brother Devon wanted revenge against Angle, whereas Ray took the more interesting stance that Sting's apathy was a greater sin than Kurt's violence. Rather than giving us two singles matches, Cornette decided to see if Sting and Kurt could work together in a Fatal Four Way. Two weeks ago, when Angle somehow took over booking, he made Sting take on Team 3D in a handicap match. This past week, the main event was the predictable tag match. Sting stayed loyal on the apron, but a grumpy Angle refused to make the tag. He and Sting had post-match words. Samoa Joe has been issuing threatening warning to the MEM via video, but I don't see how he would fit into the dynamics of this match (at least till after it's over).

Where We're Going:
It would be kind of cool if Sting swerved everyone and went full-on heel, but that doesn't seem all that likely. Slightly more likely would be one of Team 3D doing something wacky, based on the general principle in wrestling that the team expected to work together always implodes. The most likely scenario by far though is that Kurt Angle will do something to reclaim the title. It is a little awkward having the leader of a faction not being the person holding the belt.
My Pick: Kurt Angle

Beer Money Inc. (c) vs. Lethal Consequences
Tag Team Championship Match

Where We've Been:
After swiping a Feast or Fired briefcase out of the arms of The Motor City Machine Guns, Jay Lethal cashed in his tag team title shot with Consequences Creed to win the titles from Beer Money Inc. For some reason, they dropped the title back about 45 seconds later. They won another shot during a #1 contenders' match in which rivals Morgan & Abyss imploded. This past week on Impact, an assault by Beer Money culminated in Creed having his left arm unpleasantly sandwiched between a steel chair and the ring post.

Where We're Going:
With Team 3D and LAX in the main event, Morgan & Abyss broken up, and The Motor City Machine Guns focused on the X Division, these are the top two tag teams in TNA. I'm guessing this feud has at least a couple months left to it.

My Pick: Beer Money Inc. Since I expect them to keep fighting, it doesn't really matter. I think Roode & Storm could sell "disgruntled former champions" really well, so this is the outcome I'd like to pick. Nevertheless, my guess is that they're going to use the assault on Creed as an excuse to give Lethal Consequences both the loss and a later rematch.

Rachael's Pick: Lethal Consequences

Alex Shelley (c) vs. Eric Young
X Division Championship Match

Where We've Been:
A month or so ago, Eric Young was twice declared X Division Champion, only to have the decision overturned. Meanwhile, Sabin & Shelley have been feuding with Mick Foley and the remainder of their Front Line brethren. Eric Young came out to help Jay Lethal after Beer Money took out his partner before a match against The Guns, and ended up pinning Shelley. Shelley took none too kindly to that, and issued the challenge himself.

Where We're Going:
The Guns have been show-stealers for the last couple months, rivaling Sting in terms of moral ambiguity and running circles around everyone in the ring at last month's PPV. EY doesn't have as much spring in his step as Sabin, but the massive crowd volume for his matches might make up some of the difference. Expect this to be the potential sleeper match of the show.

Both Picks: Alex Shelley. As much as I'd like to see EY win the title at some point, ending Shelley's first reign this soon would be a crime.

Awesome Kong (c) vs. ODB

Where We've Been:
When Christy went down with an injury, ODB stepped up to win the #1 contender's spot. She's gotten the better of some brawls, but I don't know she's ever actually pinned Kong.

Where We're Going:
Why they would put the belt back on Kong after finally getting it off her is beyond me. She's the epitome of a division killer, particularly as she now has a posse. Sooner or later they'll have to just have her drop it in some sort of random match, but I doubt it'll be one-on-one.

Daniel's Pick: Kong. ODB's a good candidate to take the belt off Kong, but I doubt she does it here.

Rachael's Pick: ODB

Booker T (c) vs. Shane Sewell
Legends' Championship Match???

Where We've Been:
Sewell bumped into Booker T after his match last month. They didn't like each other very much. That's seriously how this feud started. Things escalated when Sewell tried to prevent the MEM from beating up Hernandez, and in so doing Back Body Dropped Booker T out of the ring. They described this as a title match on Impact, but it's not listed as one on the website.

Where We're Going:
I can't see Sewell becoming a major player in the Front Line-MEM war. This match feels more like treading water by a company that can't figure out anything better to do with these two this month. I expect them to move on to bigger and better things next month.
Daniel's Pick: Booker T
Rachael's PickShane Sewell

Matt Morgan vs. Abyss

Where We've Been:
When Abyss returned from the mental institution and started helping people in distress, the only person who seemed to value his periodic interference was Matt Morgan. They quickly became best friends, till miscommunications started costing them matches. Then Morgan slapped Abyss. Now they hate each other. This one is not so notable for its depth. It is notable for Abyss going ballistic on Impact and beating the hell out of a pile of thumb tacks.

Where We're Going:
Both of these two have earned spots in the general vicinity of a main event, but I don't expect them to get there till they finish hacking at each other over the next couple of months.

Both Picks: Matt Morgan

Petey Williams vs. Scott Steiner

Where We've Been:
When Joe and Styles asked for people to join up against the MEM, Petey Williams took the opportunity to get some TV time. Later that same night, his mentor and buddy Scott Steiner showed up to join the MEM. The next week Petey tried to have a word with Steiner, but was led into an MEM ambush. A couple weeks ago he returned, ticked off, to cost Steiner a match against AJ Styles.

Where We're Going:
Here's where I'd like to see us going: after months during which the only person who could get an edge over the MEM was retired wrestler Mick Foley, it would be awesome if the tide was turned by Little Petey Pump winning a shocking upset over former mentor Scott Steiner.

Both Picks: Scott Steiner. Nope, I don't think there's a chance in hell of it happening either.
