IMPACT HITS

Beer Money, Inc. vs. Jethro Holiday & Eric Young. You had to love the shot at WWE with TNA mentioning how Jim Ross had stated that tag wrestling in WWE was not being pushed as much, whereas TNA was pushing their tag division. Beer Money continues to get their push towards what I can only imagine will be their earned re-match against Team 3D. Team 3D's commentary continued to give the push towards Beer Money. Together, it just works. Beer Money winning the tournament would also fit into their team love for money. The right team got the win here, and even though the match was a short one, it had some strong action.

Kong Continues to Dominate. It's about time Kong received some mic time, even if it was just a few words. I'm still not fond of the non-advertised gimmick matches, but at least Kong is still showing that she's the dominant force of the Knockouts division. The only problem is that Angelina Love is not being shown as a believable force to take down Kong.

Creed and Lethal Also Have a Brain. It seems the Motor City Machine Guns aren't the only ones that can actually think. Give Daniels props for calling Lethal out on his ridiculous gimmick. Creed and Lethal's segment with Daniels continued to build the "Who Is Suicide?" story, and the Guns threat to de-mask Suicide makes it interesting to watch.

IMPACT MISSES

Episode Titles. This has been bugging me for some time now with TNA. Why does each episode of Impact have to have a "title" to open it? It just makes Impact seem like a soap opera rather than a wrestling show, and I can't say I'm too fond of it. The titles also kind of give away what the main theme of the show is going to be about. When it comes to wrestling, a little surprise now and then never hurt. So TNA, don't give away the plotline of the show in the first minute.

EVERYTHING ELSE!!! Good lord, this week's episode was an overall stinking pile of manure. The ten-man main event tag match was, indeed, a PPV match given away on free TV, and the match still stunk. Creed vs. Suicide didn't get anywhere near enough time to show the wrestlers's talents. Tenay's sit-down interview with MEM was slow and didn't do anything to advance storylines, and it just added to the overall overdose of Mafia on the show. Morgan vs. MEM Security was boring and predictable. I have no idea where this Dr. Stevie-Abyss storyline is going, and right now, I don't care. And now Sting has promised to retire if he gets beaten at Sacrifice. Guess he won't be the one losing. Please give me the two hours that I spent watching Impact back to my life.
