SUPERSTARS HITS

Jericho's Promo: I love listening to Chris Jericho cut promos. He is probably the best in WWE right now. His promo about Rey Mysterio was great. He has a way of taunting the crowd that works very well, like when he talked about ambushing Mysterio on Smackdown last week, then added "you saw it." He made the fans really want to see Mysterio get his revenge at Extreme Rules, which is exactly what he needed to do. Their match at Judgment Day was arguably the best of the PPV. I'm guessing that Edge vs. Jeff Hardy in a ladder match will be the best this PPV, but I'm also guessing there is a lot of anticipation for the Intercontinental Title match too.

Jericho & Ziggler vs. Truth & Hardy: This was a very good tag match. It was nice to see mid card wrestlers like Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth teaming with upper card wrestlers like Jericho and Hardy. I liked how Jericho didn't appreciate Ziggler introducing himself before the match. I also liked how the match was put together. We got to see Hardy take a short beat down before a small hot tag to Truth, followed by the longer beat down and the huge hot tag to Hardy. The match was put together well and executed very well also. It had plenty of high energy wrestling action. There were a lot of high flying moves. Truth's dive over the top rope onto Jericho was outstanding and very memorable. It had the right ending with Hardy pinning Ziggler. This was just a very good 12 minutes of wrestling.

SUPERSTARS MISSES

Dreamer Loses: Tommy Dreamer vs. David Hart Smith was ok. Christian was fun to listen to on guest commentary, and it was an interesting way to build to the triple threat at Extreme Rules by focusing on his issues with Dreamer. However, any good that happened was over shadowed by the stupid ending. I'm not thrilled with Dreamer taking the loss. I understand that WWE wants to keep Smith strong and they want to tease more tension between Dreamer and Christian and were trying to do something clever to have Christian accidentally cost Dreamer the match. However, it made Dreamer look weak. He looks weak a lot, but WWE has done a good job on ECW lately of actually building Dreamer into a credible Title contender. He looked very strong on ECW this week, but that didn't carry over to Superstars. Also, if he had to take a loss in that situation, at least have Tyson Kidd hit him with something more believable to finish him off. He just kicked him and that was that. If he gets kicked once during the Title match at the PPV, will he get pinned again?
