ABSURDITY OF IT ALL SPECIAL REPORT: Robot Chicken's Seth Green is more shredded than a Julienne salad, man

By Shane McKinley, Torch specialist

To be honest, I was expecting WWE to pull out Drew Carey or Jimmy Fallon as guest hosting Raw.

Turns out it's Seth Green. And I'm digging it. I got so excited that I contacted my guild on WoW last night and...

Seth Green is the co-creator of Robot Chicken (also does voice work on "Family Guy") and I'm thinking that this is a good fit for WWE. I'm a fan of dumb comedy shows like Robot Chicken (which usually lasts a grand total of ten minutes. Compared to a TNA TV ladder match, this is quite lengthy). Hopefully WWE will steer very, very, very far away from "Austin Power" references Monday night.

Who am I kidding? They'll probably will.

The other news is that Triple H will be on an episode of Robot Chicken. They have used previous wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper. During a episode of "Hogan's Heroes," Hogan delivered a flaming chair shot to Hitler. YouTube clip or...

Hulk Hogan did voice work for Abraham Lincoln (who was killed by former President George Bush during a lightsaber battle) and also did work for the "raping tree" (don't ask).

Then there was the "Educational Federation Wrestling," where Benjamin Franklin, the Wright Brothers, and Ghandi all clashed.

It might be the coolest thing that dinosaur Trips does all year. Some might wonder how Triple H will fit into "Robot Chicken." Consider that Smackdown segment where Triple H played with a Vickie doll? He likes playing with dolls. I can imagine him saying to the crew at Robot Chicken this: "Damnit! Make my muscles bigger! And my thighs the size of dumptrucks! I'm the Game! You will obey!"

See you on Raw, where WWE will have more stereotypes. Seriously, they can't get enough right now. They took a look at that Transformers movie and went, "my goodness! We need more watermelons! More vodka! The kids laugh at that s---!" Next week they'll have Robert Downey, Jr. as guest host doing his blackface role from "Tropic Thunder."

"All right fellas, we're gonna start this off night right. I'm gonna cook something for you, Legacy. Y'all might be in for a treat. You know back before the war broke out I was a saucier in San Antone. I bet I could collar up some of them greens, yeah, some crawfish out the catering, yo'! Ha! I'm makin' some crabapples for dessert now, yo! Hell yeah, ha!"

Hey, it's for the kids. So it makes it all right. Right?
