-- Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy was a good way to start the show after Jeff's brief mic work. With Jeff expected to take a leave at some time, it hasn't seemed to affect his in-ring work.

-- It was sad to see Mike Knox jobbing to Khali. I thought he was positioned for a push on Raw, then he came to Smackdown and hasn't been seen in quite some time. I don't know many fans who are looking forward to a Khali vs. Kane feud.

-- Ziggler, even though he only beat Finlay by count-out, got a good win over the veteran heading into his match with Rey at Night of Champions. He has a lot of momentum right now despite losing to Rey Mysterio at the PPV

-- Punk is great as a heel, but I don't know if they should be focusing on his Straight Edge lifestyle to get heel heat. If he played it a bit more over-the-top "I'm better than you," it'd work fine, but some of the stuff he says about Hardy can really hit home for some people. I guess that's the point.

-- R-Truth's match just seemed thrown out there. Keeping him strong for the future maybe?

-- Punk vs. Rey was a good TV main event, and the end of the show managed to build up two matches rather than one at the PPV.
