SUPERSTARS HITS

Kidd vs. Morrison: My only issue with this match between Tyson Kidd and John Morrison is that Morrison could have looked stronger the night before his opportunity to win the World Championship with a stronger victory. Tyson Kidd has a lot of skill and we've seen him in good matches in the past on ECW, but he hasn't gotten a lot of big wins. Even as a team with David Hart Smith, they've lost as much as they've won since moving to Smackdown. So why would the #1 contender have this much trouble beating him? I am willing to look past all of that because it was such a good match. It went 13 minutes and featured high energy, high flying and high impact offense. It was very fun to watch. And once again, you can add another name to the list who have had good to great matches with John Morrison over the last few months.

Orton vs. Primo: This was also a good match, but not as good. It was nice to see Randy Orton in a match like this to showcase his skills and make him look strong. It has been quite awhile since he's been in this type of one-on-one match. They gave enough offense to Primo to get the fans excited about possibly seeing an upset and elevating him, while not diminishing the WWE Champion. Also, Orton looked good in his methodical beat down of Primo during the middle of the match, sending a message to John Cena. He even hit the RKO on his first attempt which was also nice to see. It was a well booked and well executed match.

SUPERSTARS MISSES

None: This wasn't a great episode of Superstars, but a good one with nothing major to complain about. Sure, I complained a little about Morrison having too much trouble with Kidd. I could complain about the Raw Rebound, but I get tired of doing that. I'm not a fan of Ask the Divas, but if it is going to be on any show, it should be on Superstars, not ECW like it was last week. So, it doesn't get a Miss this week. Yoshi Tatsu vs. William Regal was solid. Orton gave a solid interview. It was a good show.
