"You better look behind you
'Cause there I'm gonna be
I'll be standing in the shadows
With who I used to be
He's slightly schizophrenic
Me and me and me and me agree
That you are gonna pay
For what you did to me"

-So TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle got busted. Apparently he stalked ex-girlfriend Rhaka Khan while driving around with HGH and other drugs on a suspended license.
Man, Rhaka Khan. That lady just won't go away. Khan is one of the main reasons why many critics just threw up their hands at the whole effin TNA organization in 2008.
I'm not surprised that when the po-po searched Angle's car, they found the usual steroids and drugs. Well, Angle has a prescription for those. He just left the doctor's note at home. Frankly it's commonplace now. I would be surprised if they searched his car and found nothing but...peppermint gum! Gasp!
I guess drinking Stacker 2 gives you all of the energy to stalk bimbos. Feeling tired? Need the energy to dial her phone number at two in the morning? Drink Stacker 2!
The question is this: If Angle is released on time, should TNA allow Angle to wrestle on the PPV? Angle being arrested is in no way on the level of Michael Vick coming back to play for the Eagles. Vick laughing while hanging dogs from trees doesn't compare to a drug-addled Olympic Champion being lonely.
But Angle shouldn't wrestle on the PPV. Yes, I know he's champ and all of that, but let's look at the facts.
(1) The main event looked like a wash anyways just to set up Bound for Glory. I say throw in A.J. Styles for the replacement of Angle. If not a slot at the main event for A.J., a candy bar. Something.
(2) They'll probably talk about how it was Bobby Lashley who called the cops on Kurt Angle because Rhaka Khan is his sister. Then Kurt Angle can talk about how he wants to have "bestiality sex" with Lashley's "sister." (Angle's Booker T/Sharmell feud v.2.) Oh snap, it's awnnn.
(3) They'll probably just give the title back to Angle on the next Impact. Pole match, anyone?
It's unacceptable behavior by Kurt Angle, being world champion and all. I say send a message to the boys and the girls in the back that Angle's actions (especially right before a PPV) will not fly with TNA. Angle should not wrestle at Hard Justice.
What is the PPV main event? Uh, that oily big dude Matt Morgan...and...um...Sting and Kurt Angle. The story of the match appears to be "which side will wrestler x choose?" TNA likes to do this because, hell, we don't want to be a part of an emotionally rewarding tale. Nah, we just want the same tabloid nonsense.
-Remember when they hyped up for weeks which side Christian was going to join? Frontline or MEM? Did it really matter? No. Much like how Rhino turning into the asshole he always was and goring that sad sap Jesse Neal. Guess he hates America now. Come on, TNA. Have Rhino join World Elite and then try to spin it, considering how just in this year Rhino was involved in a "love it or leave it" feud with Bashir.
-Mick Foley created something out of nothing with his "I'll put myself through a table" promo with Nash. Foley vs. Nash at Hard Justice didn't excite me at first, but Foley and Nash did a good job of teasing me to check out their match. Meanwhile Cena vs. Orton just bores me. That's the difference in "passion." There's "real passion" and then there's "contrived passion." You can tell that Foley is passionate and one realizes how miserable he was when announcing back in WWE.
Loved the use by Foley of the "W" word. Shhh. We can't say "wrestler" anymore!
I wouldn't call Foley the best TNA promo guy. Way too often his promos are just too absurd, even for me. But man, his "PPV hype promos" are hella good.
By comparison, Cena giving his "You've got 250 pounds of problem" promo was "fiery" but "hollow." It was missing context, which, ultimately, what makes me care about a particular feud (Punk vs. Jeff, for example). The Raw main event at Summerslam should be more than just some wrestler giving out "movie lines."
But then again, Cena couldn't go out there and start to punch himself in the head ala Foley. But damnit, make it happen.
-I believe that the Abyss-Stevie and Kane-Khali feuds are in direct competition to see who can be more putrid. I'm going with Abyss-Stevie because, despite mounting evidence, they still believe that people still care about "bounties" and "you're going to drown in your own pool of blood and vomit blah blah blah."
-See y'all at "Soft Justice" (I've got a bad feeling that Kurt will wrestle). Will there be no justice for Kurt Angle? Hell, this Angle story is more intriguing that the entire PPV itself. What happened to the three I's, Kurt? Especially "intelligence?"
