ECW HITS

Swagger vs. Tatsu: This was a good main event and the only really good moment of ECW this week. The match got off to a good start leading to both Jack Swagger and Yoshi Tatsu teasing their finishing moves. I like that Swagger was booked to have scouted Tatsu like that. After the break, the match continued on nicely with some mat wrestling. It got a little redundant after awhile. Tatsu had a few aborted comeback attempts to keep things interesting, but they could have done a better job in that area. But, things did pick up nicely at the end. WWE has done a good job of getting Tatsu's big kick over as a legit finisher which he can hit out of nowhere as he did as Swagger complained to the referee about what he thought was a 3 count.

ECW MISSES

None: This was a very blah show, however nothing stood out as being really bad. Only one thing stood out as being good, but the rest of the show was ok. Jack Swagger gave a solid promo to start the show. Zack Ryder vs. Tommy dreamer was a decent 5 minute match. The Abraham Washington Show wasn't good like it was last week. But, it wasn't as bad as it often is. Washington himself got his biggest laugh ever when he said that he can't afford to fill his coffee cups with drinks because this is ECW, not Monday Night Raw. Vance Archer vs. Goldust was ok. I would like to see Goldust in a more prominent role like he was against Sheamus a few months ago, but this was fine. I liked that ECW had a Smackdown Rebound instead of a Raw one, but that video really needed to be played on Raw which has a bigger audience than Smackdown (but I guess they couldn't cut out the replay video of the Little People's Court to make room for it). All of that led to ECW being just a so-so show until the good main event.
