Justin Cousineau of Kingston, Ontario, Canada (8.0): Best Match: Triple H vs. Randy Orton (either). Worst Match: C.M. Punk vs. Big Daddy V. This was easily the most fun PPV that WWE has had in years. Perhaps being backed into a corner with the John Cena situation, much like the Monday Night Wars of old, is exactly what WWE needed to bring out the best in their creative direction, performers, and all around product. Whatever it is, I hope they continue to strike while this iron is hot. Not a single "bad" match on the card, although I'm sure more than a few fans in Chicago felt cheated that their hometown boy C.M. Punk was stuck in a re-run angle with Big Vis. It would have been nice to see the IC Title or Cruiserweight Title defended, but when you have three WWE Title matches (all of which were excellent), a decent Khali match (!), an excellent six-man tag, and a really good Finlay-Mysterio match, you're not going to hear a whole lot of complaining from me. Oh, it should be noted that this was a (very) last minute purchase from me (about six minutes before the PPV started), and I feel it was worth every single penny.
Ryan Tourgee of Cranston, R.I. (2.0): Best Match: Main Event. Worst Match: ECW Title match. There were many things I did not like about this show. Why not just have Randy Orton beat Triple H for the held up title at the end of the show? Now Triple H gets one step closer to Ric Flair's 16 World Titles. The ECW match wasn't much of match at all. Punk deserves better and so does Mr. Kennedy. The MVP-Hardy contest was one of the worst PPV moments in years. I'm actually glad that Chris Jericho did not return to this disaster. This was even worse than last year's December to Dismember. It's hard to imagine anyone actually buying Cyber Sunday based on this show.
Gary Cantrell of Lorton Va. (7.5): Best Match: Randy Orton vs. Triple H (2nd Time). Worst Match: Punk vs. BDV. Wow! Talk about an edge of your seat type show. You see Main Events like this and wonder why WWE can't produce this all the time. The Main Event completely saved this show hands down. Seeing Hunter win the title seemed like nothing but to stroke his ego and take him another step closer to Flair's record. I was glad to see them give Orton a little of his in ring credibility back in the last match. The rest of the night was filled with pretty much the usual. ECW got crapped on again, should be no surprise to anyone. Finlay-Mysterio was a decent match, and we got to see juiced up Batista show the most athleticism hes ever shown in his career by leaping from one cage to another. All in all, recommendable show thanks to the main event.
Joshua Clarke of Columbus, Ohio (4.5): Best Match: Triple H vs. Randy Orton II. Worst Match: C.M. Punk vs. Big Daddy V. A below-average pay per view effort, bolstered only by the strong performance of Triple H throughout the night. Had the last man standing match not taken place, I probably would've rated this a 2.0. The rest of the matches were either pointless or terrible, or both. I know that the wrestling forums collectively groaned when Triple H first won the title, but he is honestly the best wrestler in the company. The fact that he married the boss's daughter is irrelevant. I was very disappointed that Chris Jericho didn't show up, though not surprised as they'll stave him off till Cyber Sunday given the "saveus_222" gimmick they're playing off. WWE really needs to raise the standard of quality as their last several PPVs have been very below average, and with Survivor Series looming around the corner, it isn't looking good.

PWTORCH FORMAT CONVENTIONS
For the sake of clarity to our readers (and to save us time editing these same things over and over), please follow these simple conventions when writing Torch Reax:
-Wrestlers teaming together should be connected with "&" symbol (e.g. Hunter & Michaels, Devon & Ray) or with a "/" (e.g. Animal/Hawk, Harris/Storm), but not dashes and not the word "and."
-To designate wrestlers who are fighting, feuding, or wrestling each other, put a dash (-) between them (e.g. Michaels-McMahon, Jarrett-Sting, Hogan-Andre) or use "vs."
-The word versus should always be abbreviated this way: "vs." with a period afterward (not "v." or "v/s" or "VS" or "VS." or any other way).
-Plus, it's just our policy, but we don't indulge wrestling promotions' strange spelling fetishes where they spell Raw, Smackdown, Heat, Impact, etc. with the haphazard capitalization of various leTTeRz. It seems very "junior high," so no Raw (it's Raw), no iMPACT (it's Impact), etc.
-Please try to avoid overuse of dot-dot-dots. If you have a thought that's "trailing off," you can use for effect, but otherwise, just use periods, commas, and our personal favorite, semicolons if you dare. We have always had a policy of only one exclamation point and no ALL CAPS. Let your words convey the meaning of your point. There's many to choose from out there.
