Anthony W. of Roanoke, Va. (7.0): Best: Main Event. Worst: Another Dreamer beatdown. If I were at the arena for that taping I wouldnt cheer for Tommy Dreamer, either. Not because I don't like him, because I do, but because as soon as you see him come out to face Big Daddy V you know he's doing the job. You know he isnt gonna win and you know all your excitement for him is deflated in a quick squash match. It's sad as I'd personally would love to see him compete for a title. I'm tired of Miz and Balls. I may be in the minority here, but I like John Morrison. Give him more practice with promos and he can be something. He's got the skills and does a lot of moves (like the spring over the top rope turn and baseball slide kick Punk out onto the floor) that we don't see others do. Problem is, aside from Punk, Burke, and maybe Dreamer there's no one for him to showcase those talents on. Now if he was around back when Sabu, RVD, and others were still there, what would we be saying about him now. I'm glad to see him back. Unless I missed something, where was Elijah Burke? Overall, I liked the show, saved by the main event. I'm looking foward to the rubber match between these two.
Kevin Wang of Dallas, Texas - Torch VIP member (5.0): Best Match: Punk vs. Morrison; Worst Match: Three-way tie among the others. With the stripped-down format from other WWE programming, ECW has been showcasing some pretty good actual wrestling content lately. For whatever reasons, this week they dropped off significantly. Part of it is definitely the thin roster, as there is only so much you can do with the same guys over and over each week. I'm wondering if they're not setting up C.M. Punk to lose the title back to John Morrison soon. Is he intended to be no more than a transitional champion? Given the brand's history, who hasn't been a transitional champion? (Big Show won to get the belt off the doghouse-bound RVD. Bobby Lashley won to get the belt off the departing Big Show. Morrison won as a stopgap after Chris Benoit's death. Punk won to get the belt off the suspended Morrison.) As for Punk and Morrison's match, I am glad to see Morrison continuing to develop his unique, acrobatic, kick-based style. It's definitely different and effective. The reverse suplerplex finisher looked nasty from the original angle, and I was worried that Punk had been hurt. The replay showed that Punk landed carefully on his elbows and protected his head and neck. Great looking finish, but perhaps a bit dangerous to be putting on free TV.

PWTORCH FORMAT CONVENTIONS
For the sake of clarity to our readers (and to save us time editing these same things over and over), please follow these simple conventions when writing Torch Reax:
-Wrestlers teaming together should be connected with "&" symbol (e.g. Hunter & Michaels, Devon & Ray) or with a "/" (e.g. Animal/Hawk, Harris/Storm), but not dashes and not the word "and."
-To designate wrestlers who are fighting, feuding, or wrestling each other, put a dash (-) between them (e.g. Michaels-McMahon, Jarrett-Sting, Hogan-Andre) or use "vs."
-The word versus should always be abbreviated this way: "vs." with a period afterward (not "v." or "v/s" or "VS" or "VS." or any other way).
-Plus, it's just our policy, but we don't indulge wrestling promotions' strange spelling fetishes where they spell Raw, Smackdown, Heat, Impact, etc. with the haphazard capitalization of various leTTeRz. It seems very "junior high," so no Raw (it's Raw), no iMPACT (it's Impact), etc.
-Please try to avoid overuse of dot-dot-dots. If you have a thought that's "trailing off," you can use for effect, but otherwise, just use periods, commas, and our personal favorite, semicolons if you dare. We have always had a policy of only one exclamation point and no ALL CAPS. Let your words convey the meaning of your point. There's many to choose from out there.
