Sting's Future Reax #3: "Sting should definitely take a deal from WWE and then make his mark in their HOF." Oct 19, 2007 - 5:00:29 PM
Charlie Greenfield: I have to agree with what you have said if Sting were to go to the WWE the endless of dream matches he could have if he went to the WWE would bring back a lot of fans. I do however think that there is one dream match that beats the rest Sting vs. The Undertaker. The storyline you could do for that would be easy have Sting play the mind games like he did in WCW as the crow Sting and The Undertaker do the same keeping them apart until Wrestlemania 24 making it a must see match. The only question is will Sting leave TNA and will he want to go to the WWE now as it is coming to the end of his career? He would also lose the legacy as the only big name making big money without joining the WWE. But money does talk if he was offered a big deal he may take it.

K.M.: Wade you are exactly right. What better match than Sting vs. Undertaker at WM. Undertaker can keep his unbeaten streak, but what a match it would be. Also Sting vs. Triple H could get trips some heat back. I don't like the face Triple H and it is getting stale quick. Sting vs. Ric Flair in a retirement match would be entertaining yet slow and methodical. Sting and John Cena teaming up with Cena possibly painting up for the tag match would be great going against Randy Orton and Edge or Mr. Kennedy. Sting should definitely take a deal from WWE and then make his mark in their HOF.
Greg Baumgartner of Amherst, N.Y.: Vince has dish-ragged nearly every wrestler he had no hand in developing (DDP, RVD, Sabu, etc, etc). Why should sting be any different? If approached, Sting should propose a $200,000 flat fee for the following services: Drop from the ceiling during a blackout to cost the Undertaker the Royal Rumble by using his baseball bat...15-second appearances from the rafters to taunt the 'Taker at the end of three Smackdowns and two Raws (with crow in tow). WrestleMania main event where Sting lays down clean to the Phenom. Cha-ching. Sting gets paid for sacrificing the gimmick, Taker gets the history rub, and Vince impales the only remaining WCW holdout for his own amusement. For only $200,000 per appearance, it's a steal.
Dan Cartwright: Sting Shming... It's only as good as the story. The problem with all the guys you mention as opponents for Sting is they are all babyfaces. As we've seen with TNA, in general babyface vs babyface does not draw well. Fans want a clear choice. In fact Stings "Crow" persona and current way of carrying himself ends up saying "heel." It's why he and Angle aren't drawing: no good guy. It would be cool to bring him to WWE as a heel. Something different and creative for him. I don't think he'd do it. WWE is in desperate need of two things:(1) Credible heels... they turn everyone face as soon as they get the slightest pop... (2) True Hero... Cena never got a personality, Triple H has none (as a face), HBK is in and out (again works best as a cocky heel), Taker's "been there done that" at this point... Hardy's are both boarderline and can't talk... ectIf you turn Triple H, HBK, Batista heel... then it would be good (though Vince isn't going to have Sting go over all those guys). If you Turn Sting heel and make him credible (win some). Then you have something. Just bringing in Sting... or Jericho for that matter... doesn't change much.
