Sting's Future Reax #4: "I absolutely agree that Sting should make a run in WWE." Oct 21, 2007 - 1:29:32 PM
Rick Stevenson, Sierra Vista, Ariz.: I absolutely agree that Sting should make a run in WWE, if for no other reason than the entertainment value such a run would bring. A feud between him and the Undertaker would be perfect, especially with a "heel" 'Taker battling a face Sting (I put heel in parenthesis because it's going to be hard to get people to boo that man). Nonetheless, there are literally a dozen matches involving Sting that I'd love to see in WWE. Hell, I'd pay money for it, even after the utter disappointments that have been the last few WWE PPVs. Sting could be a great rub to some of the up-and-comers like Kennedy or MVP. Sting: move to WWE and show everybody you've got one last, loud hurrah.

Juliann Tanner: I think that is a dynamite idea ,but I just don't think Sting will go for it. I would love to see him step in and help WWE they need it now more thatn ever. They have so many either leaving or injured that new blood would be great. A true wrestling fan and have been for about 45 years. I remember when Ric Flair and Sting both started in wrestling and the great matches they had it would be great to see that again.
Wayne Maye: First things first; the article about Sting possibly going to the WWE to finish out his career was tremendous. However, I've talked about this subject as recently as well, but I think the situation has positivesand negatives. The positives is that Sting is the only one true "name player" that has not graced a WWE ring, so seeing him on WWE TV would be something to remember. And as other readers have mentioned, the dream matches are exciting to think about, seeing Sting against the likes of The Undertaker (the most popular one), Shawn Michaels, Triple H, John Cena, Ric Flair (another popular one here, in regards to a retirement match). We can also see a three disc retrospective like we see today with most WWE DVDs, as in we get the documentary portion with Sting and fellow superstars talking about him and his contributions to wrestling throughout the years, along with a tremendous set of classic matches, most of which have never been seen on DVD format before. Being inducted in the Hall Of Fame certainly goes without question, as he can close out his career in memorable fashion. And as with most things, here are the negatives. As we all know, some superstars who weren't created under the WWF/E banner were treated different from home grown talent, so this would make many people, including myself, worry very muchif Sting were to sign. Secondly, I wouldn't also like to see Sting come inonly to be a jobber to the likes of Triple H or anyone else. Sting is a legend, so he doesn't deserve to be treated as though he needs to "pay his dues" or anything related. Thirdly, house shows is a revenue stream for WWE, so this would cause problems from the beginning since Sting doesn't do house shows. Money would also be a factor, as Sting does have a high set of demands, and I'm not sure if the WWE would cave into those, but anything is possible based on previous negotiations. Overall, I would like to see Sting join the WWE when his TNA run is over, as long as the positives that I just outlined are in effect. I wouldn't like to see someone of his character totally treated like a nobody or someone made to pay his dues. He's had more accomplishments than most, so he deserves the same respect like Ric Flair.
