WWE Raw Reax #2: "Let's get one thing straight; DX ceased being relavent sometime in the last century."

Oct 29, 2007 - 11:01:42 PM
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO BOOKMARK US & VISIT US DAILY

Kevin Bolger of East Northport NY (0.0): Best Match: Coach-Hornswoggle. Worst Match: No Jericho. Let's get one thing straight; DX ceased being relavent sometime in the last century. Vince is back on Raw with his 1970s interview jacket and you know what that means; talented mid-carders (Jeff Hardy, Kennedy) are once again reduced to vanilla athletic performers with no personality and worse, no story. The only reason I stayed with this show for the entire two hours was to see Y2j, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. The fact that the "save_us" promo was shown twice with no payoff was just a slap in the face. The show was reached the heights of predictability. Next week we will see Stone Cold beat on Santino (who is one of the few bright spots) and we will no doubt have DX partying like its 1996. Oh you've heard this before? So have all of us. Please Chris Jericho. Do as your expertly crafted promos say and SAVE US!!!!!

Bryce of San Diego, Calif. (5.0): Best Match: WGTT vs. Holly/Cody. Worst Match: Cade vs. London. Show was nearly a disaster. Santino easily had the best segment of the night. The Michaels/Vince promo has been done way too many times over the last two years. Triple H talking tough got boring back in 2002. Kennedy is overrated. WGTT losing to Holly/Cody? Somebody explain where's the sense in that. No Chris Jericho, though? That was the problem. That crowd WANTED his return... we all did, and we got shafted again. What's up with the Mickie/Murdoch angle? I sure as hell don't want to see a Cade-Murdoch feud. Hopefully Raw can pick up before it becomes the absolute worst wrestling show on television.

Mat La Vore of West Palm Beach, Fla. (4.0): I turned on the second hour of Raw after "Heroes" went off (because "Heroes" is better entertainment, and because WWE has conditioned me that the first of Raw is pretty dull) and thought it was an okay show as it went along. Jeff Hardy continues to be the most entertaining part of the show out of everyone above or below (as Hardy is) the proverbial glass ceiling. But what I tuned in for tonight was really Jericho's return. Yeah, that didn't happen. I've been excited about this for a while, but now it's all downhill. The excitement peak is over. The video code has turned out to be nothing but nonsense. What a letdown. It happens when it happens now, whether it's the "Saveus.222" video thing or not. If I'm watching Raw when Jericho comes out, great. If not I'll just see it on YouTube. WWE lost my enthusiasm for Jericho's debut, though. Now it's just annoying and condescending. And I refuse to get stringed along for what could very well be nothing more than the return of Bobby Lashley.

D. A. of Pittsburgh, Pa. (0.0): Best match: Don't care. Worst match: Don't care. WHERE WAS JERICHO? I'm glad I switched to MNF at 10 and read the live blogs instead of sticking this show out. As someone who hasn't tuned in to the WWE for three months, the Jericho hype got me to watch for an hour. I won't be making the same mistake next week and will wait for his return video to show up on YouTube or something. Thanks for the bait and switch, WWE!
