Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (8.0): Best: Bourne/Hardy/Finlay vs. Chavo/Bam/Henry. Worst: not going to do it. This was the most flawed episode of ECW I've seen in a while. To complete the Halloween theme, "Ron Burgundy" (GM Long) gave the rundown of the program. While it was hokey, it did give the TV audience (and probably the arena crowd) something to gear themselves up for. Biggest problem was that the main event should have been the three-on-three tag and not The Dirt Sheet, as the tag match was more relevant to all things ECW. The Cena videos really have to go. I'm not a Cena hater, but this is ECW, and I'm starting to understand why the hate exists. Dreamer-Swagger wasn't a very good match, partly because it was longer than I think either is used to, especially with a time element being the story of the match. Nice touch with Striker showing regret that Dreamer didn't go for an open pin, no matter whether it would affect Tommy's overall win-loss record. By the time The Dirt Sheet came on, the crowd had already left the building. Crowd didn't seem to buy into much, if any of the segment; they probably saw the writing on the wall in this over-done type of segment. Miz/Morrison missed a huge opportunity to put themselves over. As for the true main event, had it been held at the end of the program, the "does this mean?..." question after Chavo's pin would have made sense to set up for next week. But, since it occurred at the top of the show, there should have been follow-up. Put the follow-up in place of the Cena video packages and I would have been much happier.
Patrick Michael of Rochester, N.Y. (3.0): Best match: six-man tag. Worst: Dreamer vs. Swagger. Talk about an after-thought of a show. After a fairly strong six-man tag match to open the show, ECW turned into nothing more than filler and horrible comedy. The show ended with a complete thud with Morrison and Miz doing a comedy sketch that has been done a million times before and just dragged on. It's not as if the fans buy Morrison and Miz as legit threats to Michaels and Triple H. Why should they either after tonight's ECW? Comedy gimmicks long-term don't sell tickets or get the heat that this tag team needs right now. They are drowning in the sea of mediocre tag team wrestling that has been the WWE for the past several years.

PWTORCH FORMAT CONVENTIONS
For the sake of clarity to our readers (and to save us time editing these same things over and over), please follow these simple conventions when writing Torch Reax:
-Wrestlers teaming together should be connected with "&" symbol (e.g. Hunter & Michaels, Devon & Ray) or with a "/" (e.g. Animal/Hawk, Harris/Storm), but not dashes and not the word "and."
-To designate wrestlers who are fighting, feuding, or wrestling each other, put a dash (-) between them (e.g. Michaels-McMahon, Jarrett-Sting, Hogan-Andre) or use "vs."
-The word versus should always be abbreviated this way: "vs." with a period afterward (not "v." or "v/s" or "VS" or "VS." or any other way).
-Plus, it's just our policy, but we don't indulge wresting promotions' strange spelling fetishes where they spell Raw, Smackdown, Heat, Impact, etc. with the haphazard capitalization of various leTTeRz. It seems very "junior high," so no RAW (it's Raw), no iMPACT (it's Impact), etc.
-Please try to avoid overuse of dot-dot-dots. If you have a thought that's "trailing off," you can use for effect, but otherwise, just use periods, commas, and our personal favorite, semicolons if you dare. We have always had a policy of only one exclamation point and no ALL CAPS. Let your words convey the meaning of your point. There's many to choose from out there.
