Sam Saunders of Chicago, Ill. (8.0): Best match: Kurt Angle vs. Abyss. Worst match: The Beautiful People vs. Christy Hemme & ODB. Joe and Styles continue to get better on the mic and their actual in-ring work is among the very elite of the business. Both of these performers could, and should continue to work on their mic skills, but for the most part they've come into their own this last year or so. With that said, it became very clear to me while watching the opening segment of tonight's Impact just how many of these so-called "young lions" of TNA are lacking in on-screen charisma and that ever-elusive "it" factor. This became especially clear watching Joe interact with the Motor City Machine Guns, and was further underscored by the subsequent arrival of the Main Event Mafia. Like 'em or not, each one of those guys was oozing charisma from the very moment they stepped on screen. I hope some of TNA's other talent are taking notes. I am really enjoying this almost "Nature Boy-esque" Stinger, sans make-up and dressed to the nines. I only wish he'd play it up even more. I enjoyed the confrontation with Mick Foley mainly because it acknowledged the history between these two all-time greats by touching on the groundbreaking series of matches they had way back in '91. Foley has acknowledged the impact those matches had on his career plenty of times before, but it was cool to see him do it on national TV, even if it was as part of a storyline. Tonight's main event featuring Kurt Angle and Abyss was good stuff, with an exciting sequence of believable near finishes towards the end. Angle was golden, and even managed a well-executed Angle Slam on the big guy. I'm glad to see Scott Steiner back in action and I think he makes a good addition to the Main Event Mafia. That said, I would like to see this faction remain more like the Horsemen in terms of numbers. I don't want to see it become deluded like the NWO, with new members being added week in and week out. I think MEM needs to remain a club for the truly elite and not a refuge for half of the entire roster. As for the returning Steiner, I would imagine he'll be working a program with Petey Williams in the weeks to come. All in all, tonight's Impact was pretty solid. I hope they can continue this trend over the coming weeks.
Dave from Missouri (8.9): Best Match: A.J./Joe vs. Nash/Booker. Worst Match: Young vs. Storm. First, let me say that I usually order TNA PPVs and I've always followed them because TNA has had some great shows before. Secondly, I am not a fan of this re-doing of the Millionaires Club vs. New Blood. Some people will say WWE did ECW Originals vs. New Breed, but WWE did that 100 times better. Plus they only did it as a small ECW Tuesday night feud, and not a top feud. I hate how A.J. & Joe are "young kids" in this feud when they've been on top of TNA for a long time. I always hate the booking of guys to say "the main eventers are holding me back." This is lazy. It was illogical when Nash was booked to call Joe "the future" when he was the World Champ. The thing is Vince McMahon knows how to market young guys he wants to build to main event status without ever booking that guy to complain about veterans, backstage politics, or crying about not being in the main event. It was simple heel-face stuff. This week, Nash said Hall didn't want to give Joe "the rub." TNA booked themselves stupid here. They promoted Hall and never delivered him. Why remind the fans you didn't give them Hall on that PPV? So much of this feud is TNA's lazy obsession with the past. I get the basics of the feud. I just think Vince McMahon doesn't book like this because he knows how to make young guys mean something without his announcers saying anything about age or the storyline ever revolving around age or "holding someone back." After the MEM revealed themselves as for last week, and became five this week, I love how Joe & A.J.'s big recruits were ODB, Eric Young, Petey Williams, Creed, and Jay Lethal. Jay Lethal is believable, but the other mid-carders? It would have made more since to have LAX. Why am I thinking so hard about this? This is Vince Russo helping book this promotion! Russo booked A.J. to say that Nash, Booker, and Sting helped WCW go out of business. Good job, Russo, build up TNA's brand names as guys who were a part of WCW's complete failure. Beer Money is great. I hope they keep them together. Abyss is great as well. Good match with Angle. Okay smoz at the end. I like Mick Foley as executive shareholder. He's a great talker and marketing tool for TNA. As much as I dislike this MEM feud because of all the reasons I just said, Joe-Nash and Sting-A.J. should be good matches to see on PPV.

PWTORCH FORMAT CONVENTIONS
For the sake of clarity to our readers (and to save us time editing these same things over and over), please follow these simple conventions when writing Torch Reax:
-Wrestlers teaming together should be connected with "&" symbol (e.g. Hunter & Michaels, Devon & Ray) or with a "/" (e.g. Animal/Hawk, Harris/Storm), but not dashes and not the word "and."
-To designate wrestlers who are fighting, feuding, or wrestling each other, put a dash (-) between them (e.g. Michaels-McMahon, Jarrett-Sting, Hogan-Andre) or use "vs."
-The word versus should always be abbreviated this way: "vs." with a period afterward (not "v." or "v/s" or "VS" or "VS." or any other way).
-Plus, it's just our policy, but we don't indulge wresting promotions' strange spelling fetishes where they spell Raw, Smackdown, Heat, Impact, etc. with the haphazard capitalization of various leTTeRz. It seems very "junior high," so no RAW (it's Raw), no iMPACT (it's Impact), etc.
-Please try to avoid overuse of dot-dot-dots. If you have a thought that's "trailing off," you can use for effect, but otherwise, just use periods, commas, and our personal favorite, semicolons if you dare. We have always had a policy of only one exclamation point and no ALL CAPS. Let your words convey the meaning of your point. There's many to choose from out there.
