2/2 WWE Raw TV Reax

Jules Mercuri of North Bergen, N.J. (7.0): Best match: Jericho vs. Cena. Worst match: Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix. Overall, a solid show, but too many plot holes for my liking. Upsetting to see C.M. Punk lose two weeks in a row, with his title defense coming on next week's Raw instead of the PPV - all that work to try and build up the IC Title hasn't paid off. Orton attacking the McMahons seemed to be another episode of his I.E.D., but how does that explain Rhodes and DiBiase assisting him? If it's a case of them being willing to do anything to earn Orton's respect, they need to make this clearer with some promo time for the younger members of Legacy. Women's match was miserable: Candice isn't getting any reaction, still works sloppy, and seems to have put on some weight lately. I also wasn't thrilled with the motif of wrestlers not being aware of announcements being made on the show like Flair and Undertaker (Lawler mentioned both times something like "here's something Jericho doesn't know yet" or "wait till he hears about this!") as though we don't see them watching the monitors backstage every other week. Finally, I'd love to see Kane and Undertaker's cell phone conversation. Does Taker use an iPhone? Doesn't the touch screen only work for warm, living fingers?

Joseph Lawson of Las Vegas, Nev. (5.0): Best segment: Jericho speech about WWE legends. Worst match: Punk/James vs. Regal/Layla. I keep losing faith in WWE's storylines and ideas. I figured after last week's absolutely horrid finish they needed to fix the damage from SuperShane. Having Orton explain he "allowed" Shane to beat legacy up? I suppose that's believable and gives Orton some sort of credibility back to his story As far as the rest of Raw goes, lots of short matches again. Also, no major plugs for the Elimination Chambers, so my expectations remain low. As I stated last week, Punk isn't being featuring well at all. Another short match for WWE's Intercontinental champion. I am always happy to see Chris Jericho in the ring plugging matches, or insulting the fans or his opponent. He does it well and keeps my interest week after week. I knew WWE had to do something to cover Mickey Rourke flaking out of WrestleMania and I liked how Jericho seamlessly shifted the focus from Rourke to Ric Flair. And if this goes the way I hope it does, we will see Flair vs. Jericho at Mania. Nice ending to Raw with Jericho putting over whatever they are calling Cena's finisher these days. I however am extremely sick and tired of them stuffing Cena down our throats. I get it. I still don't like him!

Jonathan in Colo. (7.5): Best Match: Rey/Kofi vs. Kane/Knox. Worst Match: Beth vs. Candice. Raw did a good job at explaining the Shane Mauling of Legacy last week. Am I the only one who believes Sim Snuka and Manu will get involved at No Way Out to show Randy they can be counted on? The women's matches are getting worse every week. Cole has to go. He has no energy when he is calling the matches. JBL-Michaels was as good as always. It will be nice to see Undertaker on Raw again, but I hate the fact the Kane got the last spot in the Chamber for that. The Raw side of the Chamber does not look good. Overall a good show with Legacy getting their mojo back.
