2/15 WWE NO WAY OUT PPV REAX

Mike Omansky, Torch reader (7.0): Best match: "Raw Chamber" (with Edge). Worst match: Swagger-Finlay. A very strong PPV that shakes things up going toward WrestleMania. In the opening "Smackdown" chamber, all five contenders with a first-rate effort. Michaels-JBL was quite good and had the biggest story behind it, although sorry that Michaels was "freed" prematurely, as it still had legs. Shane-Orton was well-handled, with a good finish. Finlay-Swagger was actually hurt by Hornswoggle, who usually is a positive. Edge was terrific in his entry into the "Raw" chamber and subsequent victory. When he pinned Cena, that solidified what we assumed would happen when he took out Kofi earlier.

Matt Johnson of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. (9.0): Best: Raw Elimination Chamber. Worst: Swagger vs. Finlay. WWE really gave fans their money worth with this PPV. There were five matches on the show and four of them seemed like a really big deal. This show would have been a ten if Mysterio got the win. WWE needs to realize what he can mean for them financially. A Mysterio-Edge match at WrestleMania had strong potential. Rey getting back the belt and bringing it to Smackdown (and Hunter moving to Raw) could have been a shot in the arm. It makes sense that Triple H would face Orton at WrestleMania, since Orton has been feuding with the McMahons. The first half of the Smackdown chamber match was boring, but it really got exciting near the end. Orton-Shane did as well as could be expected and both men deserve a lot of credit. Michaels-JBL was slow at the start, but fans had already seen an Elimination Chamber match and the bloodfest with Orton and Shane. The ECW match was a bore, but that was fine since the show needed a bore to calm things down. This was an excellent overall effort.
