Morgan Ruble of Ottumwa, Iowa, PWTorch.com reader (8.0): Best Match: Smackdown Chamber. Worst Match: ECW Championship. What a way to set things up for Wrestlemania! I expected most of the performers to phone it in tonight and was presently surprised. Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Big Show, and Rey Mysterio deserve a four-way MVP award for their efforts tonight. Jeff for being the Jeff Hardy we all expect, Rey and Jericho for sacrificing their bodies on the chamber floor, and Big Show for that sick (dangerous) DDT he took from Taker. Both Chamber matches were stunners. Two title changes was a huge surprise. I agree with other comments that Triple H is on his way to Raw to protect Steph and I'll bet Cena heads over to Smackdown to get revenge on Edge. After tonight's surprising booking, however, I could be way off and that's a good thing! JBL finally got what we all knew was coming. Shawn seemed a little off tonight, and not as high energy as he is known for, but he still knows ring psychology better than almost anyone. His wife holding her hands up to her watery eyes reminded me so much of Miss Elizabeth! Shane looking so strong against Randy and friends wasn't a great idea from a booking standpoint, but can you deny how awesome this match was and how hard Shane tried? Randy is the greatest asset WWE has right now. The way he stalks the ring is scary. When Shane was bashing him with the chair and he was screaming I forgot wrestling isn't real for a second. It was brutal! Can't wait for 'Mania. Can it top the two strongest PPVs back-to-back WWE has had in a long time? We'll see.
Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (8.5): Best: wrestling effort. Worst: booking effort leading into and during the show. The build-up leading into No Way Out faltered at the end, but the wrestling made up for it (as has happened in past PPVs). The decision to bookend the show with the Chamber matches was a good one considering all things Edge. Edge's quick elimination didn't flag anything, even with Vickie's impulsive "You lost!" One of his knees looks like it's been bothering him for a while, so the quick exit seemed like a case of saving him for down the road. Triple H vs. Taker being teased on Smackdown and post-Chamber seems to be setting up a WrestleMania re-match. Randy-Shane did a lot better than expected. That monitor shot was brutal. Swagger-Finlay was a nice old-school match for those who appreciate it, or a bathroom break for those more interested in big spots. The pressure is catching up to Swagger, though. His match was right in the middle, as opposed to opener, and sandwiched between two sets of matches that would be hard to follow up. It was a tough spot to be in this time. Michaels-JBL is now a case of stay or go, depending on Monday night's follow-up. It all comes down to how Rebecca is or isn't factored in. She didn't cause a DQ against Shawn for hitting JBL, but JBL could turn around and use that as a fine-print excuse to not pay up. In PG WWE, Raw's chamber match traded bloodless with reckless, and tossed in the odd booking for good measure. Rey took two extremely brutal head shots against the "glass," and that way-high huracanrana had to have the smallest margin of error ever. Jericho's and Rey's knees are not going to like them very much in the morning. I will be curious to see Jericho's reaction on Monday to another heel so obviously winning a title by dishonest means despite his being fairly nonplussed during the match. With Cena's early elimination, is anyone noticing that Cena's status has been pushed back some? While Edge did work a much longer match later, his knee still seemed to bother him, so it will be interesting to see where he goes now.
