4/6 WWE Raw TV Reax

Mark DiNatale of Los Angeles, Calif. (7.0): Best Match: Ten-Man tag. Worst: Santina. It always bothers me when Raw is better than the PPV I just watched the night before. It's extra bothersome when that Raw is the day after what is supposed to be the best show the WWE offers. It's like if the Pro Bowl was better than the Super Bowl. It's not supposed to happen. The best match was easily the ten-man tag. I loved the crowd reaction to Steamboat. I think he should get a one-on-one match with Jericho at Backlash. As the crowd said, he's still got it! Santina/Santino really bores me. I hate the over-the-top comedy in my wrestling. A little is fine, but he's just too much. I would drink and drive too if Vince made me do that. Batista was an excellent surprise, although didn't he and Triple H have a HUGE feud a while back? Here's hoping there is a heel turn coming for somebody. I want Triple H off my screen and I want to see Jeff Hardy or Randy Orton as the new champion or even Batista for that matter. The rest of the show is okay, but barely a mention of Taker vs. HBK? Are they saving that for Smackdown? The lumberjack match part two was silly. Why would there be a threat that the tag team champions could be broken up, if they are allowed to wrestle on all three brands? The Backlash matches would have sounded better if Vickie didn't screw up the announcement, and for God sakes, get Cena some heels to fight. He's got nothing right now except for a rehash with Edge.

Mike Carrier of Anchorage, Alaska (7.0): Best match: Colons vs. Miz & Morrison; Fans support of Ricky Steamboat. Worst match: McMahon vs. Orton. The night was halfway decent, but it started on a high note and ended on a low one. I LOVED the tag team action with the Miz & Morrison taking on the Colons. The match absolutely had me on the edge of my seat. Morrison's flip off the top rope into the wrestlers on the outside was SICK! The ten-man tag match was amazing. I didn't have a chance to watch WrestleMania last night, but watching Ricky Steamboat tonight gave me a preview of what to expect when I rent the DVD later this year. Amazing. The chant of "you still got it" nearly got me choked up, as I imagine it did to Ricky Steamboat. Santina Marella was funny stuff, but where to go from here? Is there more than just comedy to Santino(a)? Batista coming out was a shocker, but still, it's gonna be the same ol' same ol' when it comes to him. Unless he changes his in-ring style a little bit and makes it more believable, I just can't be a fan of this guy. Still, overall, a pretty decent night. Can't wait to see Smackdown, however. Yes, Smackdown is THE show to watch, McMahon. Deal with it.
