-- 8/13 TNA Impact Reax

Adam Riemer of New York, N.Y. (5.5): Best: Foley putting himself through a table and Nash's reaction. Worst: Matt Morgan's charisma/Lauren's interview skills. First let me say that I still think Impact is better than the garbage we see on Raw. The show wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as the past few weeks. I know people don't like the MEM for a variety of reasons, mostly though because they so closely resemble the NWO, but I still think it is more fun than a guest host idea. Anyway, some quick tidbits; Lauren has to be the worst backstage interviewer in the history of pro wrestling. I get it, what she is saying is suppose to be important, but she is just so over the top with selling on the mic that it's ridiculous. Am I also the only one noticing how thin she is getting? She looks sickly as her shoulder blades protrude out of her dresses that show nothing more than skin and bone. Steiner/Booker had a fun exchange with 3D. I am still willing to bet that this is the worst match on the PPV, though. Rhino/Jesse would be better if Jesse wasn't made to look like a complete idiot. I was a little surprised at the clean finish from Morgan, I don't doubt Morgan's passion for wrestling, but I do doubt his charisma. He rushes everything on the mic and he seems like he is trying way too hard on the mic to be intense. It's pretty obvious that Morgan is going to help Kurt in the long run as it would seem stupid to all of a sudden turn him face. It's just strange that A.J. is left out of a match at Hard Justice. My guess is that A.J. is going to be the one to retire Sting at Bound for Glory as the Stinger "passes the torch." From there, I can see A.J. back on track for the World Title. I am okay with this as I would rather see Sting have a great last match, ala Ric Flair, than a terrible one like him and..oh say Mick Foley or Kevin Nash would have. Speaking of Nash and Foley, how great was their exchange? Nash has to be one of the all time greats on the mic with how laid back he is about everything, and Foley was just being Foley...a psycho. When Foley put himself through the table I was loving it. When I saw Nash's reaction, I was loving it even more. I am not expecting anything great to come out of their match, but at least the Legends Title is being defended in a match that actually features two legends.

We welcome your 0-10 score and comments on this show for a "TNA TV Reax" feature in the Torch Feedback section of PWTorch.com.
