-- 8/18 ECW TV Reax

Rod Bowsers of Los Angeles (10.0): Best match: If I HAD to choose, I would say Hurricane vs. Burchill. Worst match: There was not a worst match. I honestly thought this show was great. Hurricane and Burchill had great chemistry in the ring and put on a very athletic and entertaining match. I think they both have great futures in the WWE. Yoshi Tatsu is a great babyface, and Zack Ryder is the perfect heel for him to feud with. I hope the feud continues for a while longer, because I feel the match was too short to give a good look at the wrestlers's abilities. Plus, Yoshi's theme music is awesome. The Abraham Washington show was actually FUNNY, and it made the Sheamus-Goldust feud seem important. Abraham Washington has shown that he has the charisma to succeed in this business. The main event was a great match to show before Summerslam. It looks like Kozlov, Jackson, Dreamer, Regal, and Christian are the main eventers on ECW right now, which is great. It has been a while since ECW has had so many wrestlers who could potentially win the ECW Championship. Regal and Christian are great in the ring together and I cannot wait for their match at Summerslam. This was one of the best ECW episodes in a long time. It definitely deserves a 10 out of 10.

Daevaanamd Singh of New York City (4.0): Best match: Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill (w/Katie Lea). Worst match: Christian/Ezekiel Jackson vs. William Regal/Vladimir Kozlov. Hurricane-Burchill was surprisingly entertaining. The two have proved that they can work a good match together. By the way, is it just me or did one of the announcers try to make it seem like Gregory Helms and Hurricane are different people, even though Hurricane's Titantron entrance says "Hurricane Helms?" Goldust did a bad job of acting for the electrocution story. It was comical, and quite frankly, embarrassing for him. ECW used to be all wrestling, with no time-wasting, useless talking that doesn't help the storylines much. Then, Abraham Washington came along. He has made a portion of ECW useless and boring for the past few weeks. This week, however, I thought he was slightly amusing, although the Goldust-Sheamus feud didn't seem to benefit from the humor. Ryder-Tatsu was decent, but it is hard to take Ryder seriously with his utterly ridiculous, foolish, and ugly outfit. Before the main event, they played a Raw Rebound focusing on Legacy's attack on DX. After watching the clip and thinking back, I realized that Cole and Lawler would have seen Legacy sneaking into the ring before the attack, so it was unrealistic for the announcers to seem surprised when they first saw Legacy actually hurt HBK. The main event was poor and lackluster. It was obvious Ezekiel would stay heel and backstab Christian by attacking him. Regal put on a good match, and it is too bad the others could not support him. The main event should have focused more on Regal vs. Christian instead of random tag-ins. I feel that the Christian-Regal feud could be better than it is right now, if they gave it more attention. The Abraham Washington show from before with Christian and Regal was not enough to make the feud feel meaningful. Overall, ECW was solid compared to Monday's Raw.
