WWE Raw Reax #3: "The smartest move WWE made this year was putting the tag titles on Jericho so he can save Raw every week"

-- 8/24 WWE Raw Reax

Erik from Joliet, Ill. (2.0): Best: All things Jericho. Worst: Jack Swagger? Never heard of him. I'm gonna try to keep this short or I will run out of obscenities. This is how you follow one of your best PPVs of the year with four-and-a-half minutes of wrestling in the first hour?! Miz wants to be U.S. Champ? He might as well have stayed banned from Raw since I don't see Kofi anywhere! Hour two rolls around with more talking and then we are reminded of Vince McMahon's racist tendencies with the WWE booking. It's bad enough that most African-American wrestlers have to be pimps, rappers, thugs, slaves, etc. but when a black man guest hosts, he's only booked to associate with the black wrestlers? Knowing the legal issues that Mayweather may or may not be facing, it made sense that he was barely on the show so I can't really criticize him not showing up until the second hour. The tag match was enjoyable despite everyone knowing MVP & Henry were going win to set up the match at Braking Point. The smartest move WWE made this year was putting the tag titles on Jericho so he can save Raw every week. I absolutely love him doing the "little brother" routine during his promos now, emulating the Big Show and calling Mayweather little man. Pure genius. I actually asked Jericho on Twitter to lose this match at Summerslam so he would no longer be associated with Raw anymore. Unfortunately, when everyone was on their weekly Jericho high, we get kicked in the nuts with "Hornswoggle vs. Chavo part 9, Raw goes to Hell." If Bourne saving the day leads to the end of this "feud," then the show deserves a 10.0 instead, out of principle. I didn't even watch the main event because it's been done... and done... and done... and done. I watched a replay of The Daily Show instead. It was only the second time I saw that one. If someone offered me tickets to a Raw that was literally taking place in my backyard, I'd decline.

Goiter Kalnoky, Third Wave Poet of Keasbey, N.J. (2.0): Best: Jericho and Show vs. MVP and Henry. Worst: on-going Horny-Chavo crap. Congrats to Raw for putting together a third straight week of horrid programming. Seriously, this show sucked. I am getting burnt out staying up late for this crap. 30 minutes of uninterrupted chat from DX? Weak. Vince and DX tag team? Seriously? Miz and Santino. Great, give them one minute? Please. God forbid they cut into the 30 solid minute waste of time to open the show, so these guys get a throwaway minute? Pathetic. Divas tag match? They have the same match every. stinking. week. MVP and Henry vs. the Jeri-Show was really good. Mayweather's involvement was confusing and a waste of time. Horny vs. Chavo....just typing this angers me. every. single. week. Nothing for Carlito to do so he can take a punch to job for Vince. DX vs. Legacy was okay for what it was. Super Cena run-in to be expected. Answer me this Torch editors/readers...how is it that they have time for all of this utter non-sense, week after week, yet no Bourne, no Carlito (not really), no Kofi, and Miz gets one minute? I am serious when I say this. I am off Raw for the time being. I will read the recaps, but this show has had three straight weeks of the worst waste of two hours I have ever seen. Sleep is more productive for me...and I can't wait for Monday Night Football.
