-- 1/4 WWE Raw and TNA Impact Reax
John of Howell, Mich. Best Match: Without a doubt A.J. vs. Angle. Can Hogan bring in any more guys that haven't been relevant in a decade? Hall? X-Pac? Val Venus? Shannon Moore? The Nastys? Are Hogan and Bischoff trying to re-create WCW? I mean Sting is in the rafters again. You know Goldberg will probably show up. Dixie Carter looked really happy during Jarrett's rant. Bobby Lashley is all of a sudden a heel now? What? I listen to Hogan talking about letting the young guys shine. When was the last time he let a young guy shine? Umm...yeah, never. Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy just killed his career. I see a small short-term bump in the ratings. But it will plummet again. Dixie, honey, I think you are seeing the beginning of the TNA final countdown.
James of Navarre, Fla., USAF electrician (9.0) Best: Bret Hart-HBK interaction. Worst: Jeff Hardy's knife in the back of WWE Universe. Raw gets a 9.0 only because of Bret Hart. Vince McMahon knew what he had to do to compete with TNA tonight and he put differences aside and brought him in. Hart was amazing. When I was a little kid, I watched Bret on Saturday mornings and then on Raw. Seeing him back was true goosebumps. The rest of Raw I didn't really care about except for Vince kicking Hart in his jewels. Looking forward to Hart beating McMahon at WrestleMania. WWE delivered Hart tonight and that was enough for me. I'm tired of all the other same ol' same ol' on Raw, though. On TNA, as soon as Jeff Hardy showed up, I was like, "really?" He took a dagger and stuck it in the back of WWE fans, who cheered and cheered him until Vince put the belt on him. I pray Vince doesn't let him come back to WWE. Styles and Angle put on an early Match of the Year candidate and I was shocked when Styles won clean. I also feel the same way of Flair as I do of Hardy. The ending of the show with a possible NWO re-formation absolutely does not make me want to tune in next week. Both companies brought it tonight and I hope this trend continues.
Samantha of Washington, D.C: (10.0): Best WWE Segment: Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Worst WWE Match: Maryse vs. The Bella Twin(s). Tonight's episode of Raw more than made up for the past couple of weeks. Seeing Bret Hart in the flesh on Raw was phenomenal, especially after all the times that he said that he would never come back. The exchange between Bret and Shawn was very surprising and very touching. The hug made my jaw drop, but it was nice to see how much both guys have changed over the years, especially Shawn Michaels. Their segment alone made this show a perfect 10. Bret's exchange with Vince McMahon was also superb, but I was not anticipating them meeting as much as I was Bret and Michaels. I loved how McMahon took a cheap shot at the end because it could lead to a match at WrestleMania. Tonight's development in the Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase saga was great. It is nice to see these two stand up to Orton. I also thought it was great when Orton confronted McMahon because the history between the two was actually acknowledged. Sheamus looked really good tonight and his promo was great. The Divas match was dumb, but I loved The Miz's promo and thought he was fantastic on commentary. The U.S. Title #1 contender's match was throwaway, but I am glad that MVP won.
