Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (6.0): Best: Christian vs. Jackson (match). Worst: Jackson retires the ECW Title. This is one time I wish the finale was extended-play with a 90-minute or two-hour show to close things out. Oh, what could have been. Both title matches were fine, but the ECW Title match was better. But why Jackson as the final champion? ECW purists would most certainly see this as a slap in the face. I'm not one of them, but I certainly do see it. What has Jackson done to deserve a push? I guess the only consolation is that hopefully the title really does end here and it's not taken to Smackdown or Raw. Much to my chagrin, he's probably not going to be released, while more deserving wrestlers will get the heave-ho. If Jackson stays, he'll need Regal as his mouthpiece since he doesn't have it there either. Tiffany's run-in may be an indication of what she's doing soon. But where was this Tiffany the entire time? She was much more assertive and willing to get into the scrum if necessary. Had this last ECW had more time, I would have liked a nice retrospective on ECW. I would have also allowed the various wrestlers to state their cases as free agents: which brand appeals to them, their goals in the move, etc. But, alas, it wasn't to be. Instead of going out like a lion, ECW went out like a lamb...again.

Richard H. of Wilmington, Ohio: ECW went off the air with the same inconsistency it came on the air with. Both title matches were good for what they were with Tatsu and Miz both looking good in the tag match. Christian's title loss to Jackson was a fitting tribute to the WWE version of ECW - lots of action and highspots but a mish-mash story wise. Seriously, why was Ryder anywhere around the ring? Tiffany showed some fire and should be utilized as a Diva posthaste, especially since Raw's Divas just aren't cutting it right now. RIP the Original ECW of the bingo hall and enthusiastic performers, and good riddance to the homogenized watered down version McMahon foisted off on the wrestling fans.
