Bill Sartori of Windsor Locks, Conn. (8.0): This was a surprisingly good show - well-paced and coherent with good writing. However, the only real problem I have with the show is that the audience needs a program to tell who the heels and the faces are from week to week. To that point, there is Mr. Anderson, who I thought was absolutely devastating as a heel. Why make him a face? I suppose if Christian can have his "peeps," then Anderson can have his "assholes." (I guess you can say "asshole" on cable TV?) I thoroughly enjoyed the Matt Morgan skit. The "we" stuff is so over-the-top and funny in a very entertaining way. But, will Samoa Joe now be limited to walk-ins and staring matches? Desmond Wolfe is clearly the breakout star on the roster. His match with Hardy was fantastic. I saw moves last night that I've never seen before and I've been watching wrestling for over 35 years.

Justin Shook, student (6.0): Best Match: Styles vs. Anderson. Worst Match: NA. This show seemed to be wrestling-light and talk-heavy. Call me crazy, but I actually liked it. Anderson was so funny. I haven't laughed so hard watching wrestling in a while. Him saying "Hey Assholes?" and the entire audience responding with "Yes?" was too much. I think Matt Morgan talking down to Angle was great, but if he dropped the "we" thing, he would come off more main event level. I'm excited to see the matches Angle has promised. TNA is smart to build them up as I'm sure each one will be a show-stealer. In the future, one ten-minute main event instead of two five-minute ones would be smart booking. Overall, good effort from the TNA crew this week. They have the talent; all they need to do is use the wrestlers more effectively.
