-- 6/7 WWE Raw Reax

Forrest of Des Moines, Iowa: I thought that was the most surprising and best finish to a wrestling program since the Monday Night Wars era. Even though we all know it's a work, that was unexpected and very well done. I thought pro wrestling could no longer drop my jaw. To have the new NXT guys band together and literally destroy everything was genius. If WWE continues to do this correctly, it could be the WWE vs. WCW feud that never was. For all the goofiness and fun this week's Raw showcased, the ending segment felt (pardon the pun) raw. It did what the Millionaires Club vs. the New Blood in WCW couldn't do. And, to that extent, what the Main Event Mafia vs. the Frontline in TNA couldn't capture. I'm very curious to see where this goes. Kudos to WWE and thank you for dragging me back in.

Juan Guzman of Newark, N.J.: Horrible ending to Raw. This is why everyone switches to UFC. All these low-minded NXT Rookies did was make themselves suspects in the Undertaker situation.

Jim Valley, PWTorch VIP member: I've been a subscriber for years and I have never been compelled to write about a show until now. Embarrassing. WWE had the hottest stars at the moment in Bradley Cooper and Rampage Jackson, yet they did an embarrassing, failed attempt at corny, slapstick comedy. The wrestling bubble that surrounds the inner circle of WWE needs to be popped. Don't even start about the end of the show angle. It's the latest in a decade-long string of angles that shock at first and then go nowhere. We will not be talking about this in a month. Guaranteed.

Ernie Cruz, Torch reader: That ending segment really made up for the rest of Raw, in my eyes. The rest of Raw was utterly horrible and a poor way to use "Rampage" Jackson, much less the entire cast. I was dragging on watching Raw until I saw the ending, which blew me away. After reading the Torch's Raw reports, I have a hunch Michael Cole more than Jim Ross will join this NXT faction. He seemed to run away like Eric Bischoff would do when the NWO would attack WCW (prior to joining NWO himself). That makes me wonder if Cole will end up turning heel and hugging Daniel Bryan. In my eyes, Cole cuts a decent heel promo from what we saw between him and Bryan on NXT.

Joe Simpson of Las Vegas, Nev. (1.5): Best: NXT jobbers destroy everything. Worst: tie between Guest Host segment and Viewer's Choice results. WWE really needs to stop the guest host segments. I'm sure most people either fast-forward through them or change the channel. This week, they were promoting yet another horrible movie that will undoubtedly flop at the box office. This time, it was the F-Team (I wonder if David "F-List" Otunga is starring in that movie instead of MacHorrendous). Equally bad this week were some of the choices made in the viewer polls, which is yet another reason why we might want to rethink our reverence for democracy. The first hour was made up of horrible matches, supposedly chosen by fan vote. A "dance-off," Hornswoggle and Great Khali putting on yet another negative star match against the Harts, and a "bodyslam" match between Big Show and Jericho. Thanks to democracy, those who forgot Raw was on an hour early didn't miss anything. When the best match of the first two hours was a snoozefest between Kane and Sheamus that ended in a count-out, you know WWE is putting on a horrible show. Instead of wrestling, we got to see horrible angles with Kane falsely accusing everyone of injuring Undertaker. Is it just me or is anybody else tired of seeing WWE jobbing out the "chosen one" Drew McIntyre? I thought he was a rising star, so why is he losing matches every week to career mid-carders? The highlight of the show was watching the jobbers from NXT show up and destroy everything. I especially liked the way they beat up John Cena (although I was expecting to see Cena F-U all eight of them). Overall, WWE put on a horrible Raw and the only thing that saved this show from a 0.0 rating was the ending, as we don't get to see Cena carried out on a stretcher or the obnoxious announcers laid out very often. After the show WWE put on for the first two hours and 50 minutes, I'm sure every fan watching in the arena or at home wanted to do exactly what the NXT jobbers did at the end of Raw. If this is what WWE considers a quality show, I hope TNA gets its act together quickly.
