Richard H. of Wilmington, Ohio: This was more like it. Two excellent matches, very little of the make-no-sense stories (Jarrett and Nash), and storylines and plot threads that actually meshed with each other. Beer Money and the resurgent Guns deserve nominations for match, tag team(s), and feud of the year for their stretch of matches. ... Kurt Angle continues to shine in his new limited role with consistently well-wrestled matches, A.J. just keeps getting better, and Abyss has settled into his monster routine. Fortune and Matt Morgan (I liked the "steal" of the pin - that was smart wrestling!) also scored bonus points. The few drawbacks included the savaged RVD who looked like he was a splatter movie victim, with so much "blood" slathered on him it just was not credible. Also, the Biker Barbies match with Terri Runnels-wannabe Madison was below expectations, even for a Knockouts match. And is Velvet going to the same "doctor" that turned ODB into a walking mini-blimp? As for the EV2.0 angle, how many times can you beat up Dreamer, Richards, et al before it gets old? I say about three weeks. Then they better have something else in the pipeline or the Titanic will sink even quicker.

Justin Shook, Student (9.0): Best: Guns vs. Beer Money. Worst: Knockouts Title Match. Without thinking about TNA giving away this show for free, and whether or not that was a smart move, this was a great two hours of TV. Opening with Angle vs. Styles was a great idea. I think that match, which was high-quality, as usual, hooked viewers from the start. I thought the Knockouts Title match was overbooked and that really took away from the match. Was I the only one who was thinking Shelton Benjamin was going to accept Jeff Hardy's open challenge? Beer Money vs. The Guns couldn't have been better. I thought that was a five-star match that really made this show feel "PPV quality." Even the main event delivered! The wrestlers stepped up and delivered an amazing Impact that has me amped for next week.
