-- 9/13 WWE Raw Reax

Elliott R. of Atlanta, Ga. (6.5): Best Match: Sheamus vs. Morrison. Worst Match: Everything else but the main event. Overall, Raw was entertaining, but there was not enough wrestling. I normally have a lot more to say, but this show was so filled with gimmicks and over-scripted spots. I felt it was missing the "sports" part of the "sports entertainment."

David Miller of Terre Haute, Ind. (2.0): Best Match: Sheamus vs. John Morrison. Worst Match: Edge vs. Mark Henry. I only picked Edge vs. Henry as the worst match of this show because it's the only match that wasn't so bad I blocked it from my memory. This was probably the worst Raw I have ever seen. This was WCW Uncensored bad. This show got a 2.0 from me based on John Morrison's performance and the fact that there were no technical glitches during the show. First of all, that wheel was so obviously rigged that a five year-old would have noticed it. It spun freely, then the camera zoomed way in so you couldn't see someone manually slowing down the wheel so it would stop on what they wanted it to. Plus, anyone could have looked at that wheel and predicted who would be involved in what match. Daniel Bryan in a submission match, R-Truth in a song and dance challenge, and you sure didn't have to be a psychic to predict that the GM e-mail chime would ring during Edge's celebration to announce he'd have to face Mark Henry in a bodyslam challenge. I called that whole scenario minutes before it unfolded. To make the predictability of this show even worse, let's go ahead and job out the tag team champions and make them look like enhancement talent. Chris Jericho should be the new WWE Tag Team champions! Did Jericho somehow steal John Cena's super powers? Morrison vs. Sheamus was a breath of fresh air in this hog pen of a show. Morrison is a gifted athlete who needs a gigantic push to the top. I see him as the next Shawn Michaels. Seeing William Regal in Goldust's makeup was amusing. Orton vs. Cena was just a mess of a match and an excuse to break a few tables. Horrible show.

Bob Bamber of Torquay, England, student (8.0): Best Match: Morrison vs. Sheamus. Worst Match: Edge vs. Bourne, then Henry. I thought it was a surprisingly good show in the end. It started strongly with a good in-ring segment between Miz and Chad Ochocinco, but I feared that once the song and dance thing got going, this shown was headed downhill fast. The Edge/Bourne/Henry bit was pointless, although Edge with Jillian was hilarious, and the song and dance contest at least put over R-Truth's new entrance music. Sheamus vs. Morrison was a cracking Falls Count Anywhere match. Credit to both, this wasn't a brawl like most of them were. Jericho's sit-in protest was fantastic; I hope he sticks around after the Fozzy tour. The cage match was interesting, although it did seem like they had nowhere to put the Hart Dynasty on the show. There was some really good work between Kidd and Jericho, although the bit off the turnbuckle could have gone horribly wrong. I'm guessing the Harts go to Smackdown looking for opponents for Night of Champions? Regal and Goldust was comedy gold. The main event was what it was - a decent segment that descended into a farce pretty quickly. It was annoying to see that Orton has joined Cena in the no-selling stakes. Overall, a really enjoyable show, but I'm not sure it effectively built Night of Champions. No tag team build at all? If you're not going to try, is there any point in having a tag division?
