-- 9/21 Question of the Day Reax: Would you rather see John Cena join Nexus or see Nexus disbanded?

Daniel of Arkansas: I would rather see Cena join Nexus. I think it would be a shock and may turn some fans back to Cena. With Orton being so popular I can see WWE maybe taking a chance with it by showing another dimension of what Cena's character could be.

Jefferson, Sales Engineer: While I wouldn't be opposed to Cena losing (and would actually support the notion), the idea of him joining Nexus doesn't make sense. Because he wears an armband doesn't mean he will follow orders or turn heel. Unless there really is Blood of Kali to drink and Wade is Mola Ram, Cena's character shouldn't automatically turn to the dark side. Even mixing my Indiana Jones & Star Wars metaphors, it doesn't make sense.

F. William Richard of Brooklyn, N.Y.: Cena joining Nexus or not could work either way. If Cena wins and Nexus breaks up, most of the members have somewhat of an identity and could branch out on their own. (A Justin Gabriel vs. Evan Bourne match could steal the show at any event.) And if Cena joins Nexus, it extends some life into their faction, even if it will mostly consist of Cena intentionally interfering and costing Nexus members their matches until they get so sick of him, they just throw him out. Plus, it will continue the push of Cena vs. Barrett as to who the real "leader" of the group should be. And on a business level, WWE could see how the fans react to Cena playing a "heel."

Pablo of Mexico: I would like to see Cena join Nexus and change his Barney t-shirt for a black t-shirt with a big N on it. WWE needs a change and this is the perfect occasion. Cena being forced to do things in Nexus he wouldn't want to do, like facing babyface Superstars, would be awesome.

Justin James of Lexington, S.C.: I want to see Nexus break up, simply because the storyline lost all its juice after Summerslam. Instead of clearly defining their “higher purpose” and pursuing that, they are back to this lame “pick on John Cena” mode, which is boring to me. Nexus looks (physically) weak without Skip Sheffield and Cena has now proven that he can clear the ring of all five members by himself. If Nexus breaks up, I want to see Wade Barrett, Skip Sheffield, and Justin Gabriel with long term careers, and perhaps Heath Slater. That being said, John Cena is so stale that I would rather have him join Nexus to freshen things up than see Nexus disband. If Nexus breaks up, we are back to the “same old same old." If Cena joins Nexus, the Nexus story is perhaps rejuvenated and Cena’s character gets some much needed depth.
