WWE News: Jericho addresses Benoit incident in opening of book, early-book release at stores Oct 17, 2007 - 3:50:54 PM
Chris Jericho says in the forward of his book that he began writing "A Lion's Tale" in August of 2005 and finished in May of 2007. He said once he turned in the manuscript, he felt he was done, but then a "horrible additional chapter unfolded." He said one that involved one of the main characters in the book and a huge influence in his life, Chris Benoit. He said the man he refers to during the events in his life from 1990 to 1999 is "the man I knew and loved... not the man that existed during the final days of his life." He then said he prays for the souls of the departed.
Jim Ross wrote the foreward to the book.
Jericho Book Early Release - PWTorch.com reader Gerald Feinstein writes...
Just a quick note to let you know that I called my local Barnes & Noble and asked when they would receive Chris Jericho's book. The employee let me know that they received an early shipment on October 12. When I went in and picked up the copy, I asked if other Barnes & Nobles stores were doing the same and they told me most stores did indeed receive the first shipment on Oct.12. For those interested in getting the book early, here's your chance. I finished the first few chapters last night and the book is excellent so far.
