-Matt Hardy was injured on Tuesday night at the Smackdown taping, suffering a severe gash on his face requiring dozens of stitches when Rey Mysterio's knee brace sliced him. It puts his match Sunday at Cyber Sunday in doubt.

-Former WWE IC Champ Tito Santana is working on a usual indy stop for him - the IWF. Here's an excerpt of their press release issued to PWTorch.com today: "Live Independent Wrestling Federation action returns with Evil Intentions Weekend this Saturday, October 27, 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 28, 4 pm at IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ. The extravaganzas feature the return of WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana, a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion. The main event for day one October 27 features a blockbuster Six-Man Tag Team Match with a Best 2-out-of-3 Falls. WWE Legend Tito Santana unites with two-time IWF Heavyweight Champion Tony Torres of Latin Revolution and American Champion Kevin Knight to battle The Ross Family...including 340-pound mastodon Franciz, Simply Stellar Travis Blake and Aaron Stride with Commissioner Rich Ross."

-WWE sent PWTorch the following press release this afternoon regarding ECW streaming on WWE.com: Fresh off a recent renewal with the SCI FI Channel that will keep WWE Extreme Championship Wrestling on the network through 2008, World Wrestling Entertainment® has begun streaming the weekly program on its highly trafficked website, WWE.com, which currently receives 17 million unique visitors each month. WWE offers visitors to its website the chance to view ECW’s most recently televised episode on free of charge. The program, which airs Tuesday evenings on SCI FI, is made available as a video stream each week on Wednesday afternoons, and is shown through the following Monday. Viewers are able to see each show in its entirety and have the ability to fast-forward, rewind and pause the digital content. In addition to the televised ECW programming, online viewers are also treated to additional WWE action each week in the form of “After the Bell,” a special feature already available to AT&T mobile customers as part of WWE’s exclusive partnership with the mobile provider. Mobile customers still receive the extra content soon after the televised broadcast, but WWE.com visitors are now also privy to the footage the following day as they stream the ECW video on WWE.com. This year (Jan-Sept), SCI FI has been the No. 1 cable network for men ages 18-34 in ECW's Tuesday 10 p.m. time period. ECW is averaging 1.9 million total viewers for 2007.
