-Ric Flair being advertised - PWTorch.com reader David Taylor writes: Ric Flair has been named in the commercials for the Smackdown tour of Northern Ireland during tonight's episode of Heat. The event is on Dec. 4 and due to the first night selling out they have added another show the following night.
-MuscleGalore.com has released a documentary on former WWE wrestler Shawn Stasiak called"Determined" with a special guest appearance by Rob Van Dam. The press release info sent to PWTorch.com states: "Shawn Stasiak "Determined, A Documentary" tells Shawn's story, following his life journey from growing up the son of pro wrestler Stan 'The Man' Stasiak, NCAA wrestling at Boise State, and his path to becoming a pro wrestler himself and getting signed by WWE, as well as experiences thereafter working for the WWE and WCW. The story continues beyond his TV wrestling career as Shawn makes the transition to and works as a chiropractor. The documentary also showcases the intense weight-training and cardio workouts Shawn does, features a recent pro wrestling appearance, and explores his newest path of motivational speaker. The documentary features a special guest appearance by Rob Van Dam discussing with Shawn the topic of channeling positive energy for a better quality of life. Skandar Akbar, Johnny Mantel, and Kevin Von Erich are featured in the documentary as well, sharing their memories of Stan 'The Man' Stasiak." For more info, Click Here
-Smackdown finished ahead of Fox programming on Friday night bya 2.3 to 2.1 margin to finish in fourth place. Among adults 18-49, Smackdown also finished ahead of Fox's "The Next Great American Band." Zap2It.com lists Smackdown as drawing hourly ratings of 2.4 and 2.7, though, which would average not 2.3, but 2.6.
