WWE News: Raw rating goes up - Due to Cyber Sunday? Jericho buzz? SaveUs videos? Oct 30, 2007 - 5:23:30 PM
WWE Raw drew a 3.5 rating, up from the 3.3 last week. The 3.5 rating (3.54 first hour, 3.40 second hour) matches last week's same-week rating of 3.5 and, for the first time in a while, beats a recent same-week rating of recent years. The same week in 2005 and 2003 drew a 3.4 ratings.
WK: If WWE believed they had a chance to pop a rating being that it was the day after Cyber Sunday and there was considerable buzz about a potential Chris Jericho return, it's too bad they put on a lousy show. In our PWTorch.com Poll, two out of three voters scored it 3.0 or lower, and 29 percent gave it a zero. It's one of the lowest average scores for Raw in recent memory. Will that affect next week's Raw rating? Will dissatisfied viewers, if our poll at all reflects mainstream feelings, not tune in next week? Or will the advertised reunion of DX and the return of Steve Austin, plus the continuation of the SaveUs waiting game cause people to give Raw another chance?
