-WWE has offered the $2 "winner" a free trip to New York City as a consolation prize. Says WWE.com today: "One fan, Sara Fuhrmann of Keller, Texas, couldn't be blamed for feeling just a little disappointed with her winnings. After giving the correct password, Fuhrmann, 25, was told by Mr. McMahon that she had won a grand total of $2. "I still think [the sweepstakes] is an awesome idea," said the scheduling manager for a neurosurgeon and mother of a daughter who turns 3 next week. As a consolation, WWE offered Fuhrmann and her daughter and husband a free trip to New York City. Article Link

-WWE.com touted the number of sign-ups for the sweepstakes on Raw as of yesterday afternoon: The sweepstakes set up by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, blew away expectations with more than 650,000 fans having registered for the promotion and over one million sweepstakes entries in the last four days, as reported by Market News Publishing June 9. WWE has teamed with ePrize, the leader in interactive promotions, to help the "Mania" work best for all its devoted fans.

-Regarding a comment from PWTorch contributor Jeremy Maes in his blog today, PWTorch.com reader Joe Espinole writes: I was reading "DEJ Experience District - DEJ Jeremy: The One Hour Raw Experiment - Jun 10, 2008 - 9:15:50 a.m." and came across a quote he made that he needed some proof "I just hung up the phone with Eric and bitched to him how this has to be fixed. Raw is recorded and then played for the West coast feed at the normal East coast time of 9:00 pm. Something just seems fishy but I am willing to accept I am wrong, I just need proof." I live in the Bay Area of California and I am a Comcast subscriber. I have both the HD Channel of USA along with the Non HD Channel of USA. On Monday nights, I actually get to see the East Coast Feed LIVE on the USA HD Channel. Then it shows again on the West Coast feed on the USA Non HD Channel.
