WWE News: ROH gave blessing to Bryan Danielson to work WWE dark match this week Jun 12, 2008 - 2:02:30 PM

Jason Powell reports at ProWrestling.NET this afternoon that Bryan Danielson received the blessing of ROH to work for WWE in a dark match early this week. WWE has not offered him a contract. William Regal was among the big backers of WWE taking a look at Danielson. The major hurdle for Danielson is his height, although with Matt Sydal getting a look on ECW and C.M. Punk getting a good push (he's taller than Sydal and Danielson, but hardly the usual giant WWE looks at), Danielson could be given an offer.
Keller's Analysis: Danielson is one of those unique characters in a totally different way than usual that WWE could make money with him if they figured out how he fit into their storytelling. He's a phenomenal wrestler to watch and stands out as being a legit tough guy with incredibly realistic looking matwork in the context of worked pro wrestling.
