WWE has released Stevie Richards, Colin Delaney, Robbie & Rory (The Highlanders), Cherry, and referee Wes Adams.
Keller's Analysis: Stevie had been one of those "lifers" it seemed, surviving cut after cut despite rarely being utilized. He received a bit of a push on ECW earlier this year, with some inspirational videos about his medical challenges backing his push, but then it disappeared out of nowhere and he went back to infrequent TV jobs. The Highlanders are no surprise. One or both are likely to be given a close look by TNA. Colin Delaney's release explains why not much has been done with him since Tony Atlas and Mark Henry cast him aside. It also explains his throw-away show-opening hype-free blowoff match with Tommy Dreamer on Tuesday. Delaney has a long future as a novelty indy wrestler if he wants the bookings. He can tour with Zach Gowen or go back to CHIKARA and other indy groups where he wrestled as Colin Olsen. Cherry wasn't needed anymore without Deuce & Domino as a team, but she could have been repackaged.
