-- High Point: Undertaker vs. Triple H. The finishing sequence of the opening Smackdown Elimination Chamber match featured an amazing series of counters and nearfalls, very similar to the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels exchange to conclude the 2007 Royal Rumble match. Great battle that carried over from their recent "battle of respect" on Smackdown TV.

-- Low Point: Jack Swagger vs. Finlay. Really tough to give this a "Low Point," as the match followed an hour and a half of brutality from the Smackdown Chamber match and Shane McMahon trying to kill himself against Randy Orton in the second match. Match would have been solid on ECW TV, but on major PPV, it was too slow to keep the crowd interested.

-- In the opening match, Edge lost the WWE Title when he was pinned by Jeff Hardy in the first three minutes of Smackdown's Elimination Chamber match. Triple H then pinned The Undertaker in the final two of the Chamber match to win the WWE Title.

-- In the main event, Edge sneak-attacked Kofi Kingston during ring intros and was afforded the opportunity to replace him in the match. Edge then eliminated World Hvt. champion John Cena before pinning Rey Mysterio in the final two match-up to capture the World Hvt. Title and leave Raw without a champion.

-- RESULTS: (1) Triple H won the Smackdown Chamber match to capture the WWE Title. ... (2) Randy Orton beat Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred match. ... (3) ECW champion Jack Swagger beat Finlay (w/Hornswoggle). .. (4) Shawn Michaels beat JBL to earn his freedom...presumably. ... (5) Edge won the Raw Chamber match to capture the World Hvt. Title.
