WWE Hall of Fame inductee "Cowboy" Bill Watts says he's honored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and he expects to enjoy the moment.

"I'm looking forward to it," Watts told the Tulsa World (Okla.) newspaper. "They do it with a lot of class. I know I am going to have a lot of fun."

Watts spoke briefly about his wrestling career where he preferred working heel to make more money in wrestling.

There's been a shift in modern wrestling to making more money as a babyface due to merchandise sales and endorsements, but Watts knew he could make more money in the 1960s as a heel working against the top wrestlers, such as Bruno Sammartino.

"I was in a wonderful position," Watts said. "But the biggest money to be made was always going against the top guy. I was in the business to make money. It wasn't of value to me to be a good guy. It was of value to me to make the most money."

Watts turned heel against Sammartino in the 1950s to begin a program that led to the biggest box office at the old Madison Square Garden in New York City, where Sammartino was the top star.

"To get to where you can be not only in Madison Square Garden, which was huge, but to be in a headlining event, and the next thing you know you are also the guy who is setting box-office records," Watts said. "It was big-time stuff."
