PWTorch Specialist Shawn Valentino has been in Houston for WrestleMania festivities. He send the following notes on his interaction with wrestlers so far...

-Yesterday, my friend was wearing an Obama jersey. Mr. Kennedy came up to him and started accusing him of supporting a communist. He did so in a nice way. It ended up in an hour-plus back and forth discussion between the two about politics. Kennedy seemed to be drunk, but he was really friendly and respectful as he went off about Obama and Democrats. It was a hilarious conversation and was highly entertaining for me and my other friend from England who was watching. Mr. Kennedy’s wife went up to my friend and called him a moron for wearing the shirt and was extremely rude and came off as really uneducated.

-We were sitting next to Ric Flair and Harley Race in the restaurant a couple days ago. Race was with his wife. Flair was with another young blonde named Jackie, his new girlfriend. We overheard Flair telling Race that Vince McMahon offered him $250,000 to be general manager of Smackdown, but he felt he would make more on the indy scene. Flair has been a little more pleasant than usual and has been out at the bar late nights as always.

-Ricky Steamboat has been extremely polite and friendly with all the fans, stopping for pictures and autographs with everyone. He lives up to his on-screen character, a class act.

-Alicia Fox has been amazing to be around. She is a really fun, bubbly personality who jokes around with fans and seems like she is just really happy with life.

-Stephanie McMahon has been incredible, as always. It seems that the McMahons are always extremely friendly with fans, which makes sense, seeing they are the true faces of the company.

-Diana Hart has been really sweet and down to earth. I was talking to her for a while a few days ago and she was just a pleasure to be around.

-Mark Henry was an absolute prick. At least he is consistently a mean-spirited jerk. One fan asked for his autograph yesterday and he told him to "Screw off."

-I met Roddy Piper a couple days ago when he first came to the hotel and he was really cool. He could not wait to get to the bar as he told us, “I gotta get wasted.” It is amazing. Sometimes these wrestlers sound like they are fratboys.

-At around three in the morning a couple nights ago, Kennedy appeared to be drunk in the lobby and he was trying to convince the guy at the front security to borrow his microphone so he could do the Mr. Kennedy thing on the loud speakers. That would have been hilarious! Kennedy is one of the friendliest and coolest with fans, although he should probably avoid political conversations.

-Ted DiBiase has been extremely friendly as well. I had never really seen him interact much with the fans before, but he has been wandering around the lobby a lot and has been taking pictures and signing all weekend.

-Triple H is a prick, as always. He always appears to be sneering down towards the fans. He will never stop for pictures or autographs. He and Steph were at a Starbucks counter ordering a coffee and just standing there. My friend walked up to him by himself and asked for a picture and H said that he was too busy, even though it would have taken about two seconds and he was waiting there anyway. He always appears to be miserable and generally irritated by the fans. Although The Game is not the most fan-friendly star, in many ways I don’t blame him. Many of these fans are just bizarre and live down to the stereotype of socially deviant weirdo wrestling fan. Just bizarre.

-The Divas are always really nice and exceptionally cordial with all the fans. Probably because they know they won’t be around much longer.

-We saw Sunny outside the hotel giving out tee-shirts. She was really nice and looked okay.
