PWTorch.com was granted an exclusive look at WWE star Batista's appearance on the "Head Case" improv comedy show on Friday night. The show will air at 10:00 p.m. EST on the STARZ cable channel.

In this week's episode of the show, Batista sits down with "Head Case" therapist Dr. Goode for a mock interview trying to find out what his "issues" are as a celebrity who obviously has problems.

The episode is pure improv comedy with Dr. Goode playing the role of a forty-something disgruntled single female therapist who instantly judges her guests. Batista plays off her by shooting her weird looks as she goes off on wild tangents.

The background on the show is that it's completely unscripted and the "interview" is improvised as Dr. Goode directs the "therapy session" according to the responses from her guests. The guests know it's a sketch, but they play along to create an interesting improve session.

Batista's interview begins with Dr. Goode saying she can't stand big muscular guys like Batista. "This kind of thing is just the bane of my existence," Goode says to start the session. "I mean you men who work out in the gym and drive sports cars and date pin-ups."

Batista says he's not what she's expecting, as he plays that character on TV, but he's not that person in real life. He then says "Vinnie Mac" sent him to therapy.

"Oh, Vinnie Mac," Dr. Goode says, obviously not sure that he's referring to Vince McMahon while thinking of her next line. "I've been treating him since he was a foot model." Batista then shoots her a classic furrowed-brow look.

The segment then breaks down into a discussion of Batista being raised by a single mom and him being a single parent raising his daughters. Dr. Goode runs with this element of the improv "therapy session" and brings in an apparently flamboyant assistant to create dialogue with Batista and try to get to the bottom of his problems as the son of a single mom.

Caldwell's Analysis: Fans of improv comedy will certainly like this episode. Also, Batista shows good stage presence while sticking with the improv comedy setting to create interesting TV. The guests on the show know it's a spoof show, so the interesting aspect is seeing how their unplanned responses lead to unwarranted intrusions into their personal life with Dr. Goode leading the dialogue. It's definitely worth checking out on Friday night if you have the STARZ channel.
