Former WWE wrestler Mr. Kennedy says he believes he was released from WWE because the same "creativity" he brought to WWE was then frowned upon by Vince McMahon.

"It's the very thing that got me noticed that lead to the proverbial hand on the back of my neck, holding my head down," Kennedy said in a blog on Crave Online. "The very entertainment factor that got me hired was being thrown back in my face as the thing I needed to work on the most."

Kennedy says he's using his 90-day no-compete clause to show off what he considers to be a unique entertainment personality through his series of online videos. He says he wants people to see what he's capable of when WWE isn't "holding him down."

"These videos are not only my way of telling WWE that I had so much more for them to exploit, but my audition to the rest of the world at the same time," Kennedy said.

Kennedy said he's not going to complain about WWE or having a "bitching session" after his release. He followed that by saying he's not going to "complain about how WWE held me down on purpose, took away my dreams, shoved my career up my ass, or singled me out and screwed me over."

Kennedy did not address the fact that he was considered injury prone and did not have a track record of staying healthy that could have contributed to his release. Instead, he focused on his belief that he was held back by WWE.

"These videos are my way of letting everyone know I have a lot to offer, and not just in the ring," Kennedy said. I have a deep seeded desire to entertain the audience. "If I can do this on my own with a crappy little handheld camera, imagine what I can do with a staff, infrastructure and marketing plan behind me."
