WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair says he's undecided on whether to work full-time with WWE. Flair wants to retain his independence and develop the "Ric Flair" brand, but WWE wants Flair to be exclusive to the company if he signs a contract.

"You know, I don't really know right now. I have so much good stuff going on right now," Flair said on the Pain Clinic radio show this weekend. "I just like being able to come in and being used periodically. I might as well have fought (Randy) Orton; I fought him for 15 minutes. If you work for them full-time, it really limits you in other things."

Flair said he would prefer coming in for brief storylines where he doesn't have to be tied down to WWE throughout the year. He hinted that there's an impasse between WWE and himself because Vince McMahon "didn't get" what the retirement send-off in 2008 did for his notoriety. Flair said he can promote his own brand name without WWE's help.

Flair was asked whether he thinks pro wrestling coverage on "the Internet" has hurt or helped the wrestling business. Flair said wrestlers in the business have misused it by looking to passionate fans as evaluators of their in-ring performances.

"I don't like the fact that the young guys go on the Internet to see what the fans think of their matches," Flair said. The only person they need to impress is the guy sitting at the Gorilla position, which is Vince McMahon, or the agents who works on their matches, or their peers. They (fans on the Internet) can't tell you whether you're a good wrestler or not."

Other Notes: Flair said he will write a second book someday. ... Flair put over Randy Orton, John Cena, and Batista as potential future "Ric Flairs" who have "added to the business." Flair said he doesn't see another Flair, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, or The Undertaker right now in the business.
