-- Honky Tonk Man says he wishes his program with Santino feuding over the Intercontinental Title in 2008 would have lasted longer than WWE allowed it to. He said Santino's work with the Honk-o-meter was "great television."

"I thought it was a really great piece of television entertainment," HTM told Jesse Virtusio of the Southtown Star newspaper to promote his appearance at the Chicago Comic-Con this weekend. "He's done a wonderful job, period, on all the characters that they have thrown at him. I just wish (our program) had gone longer." Read the very entertaining interview with Honky.

-- Kofi Kingston was interviewed by Marvel Comics to talk about his favorite comic book heroes and how the genre has influenced his in-ring style in WWE. "I don't pattern myself after Spider-Man," Kofi said, "but I definitely see a lot of similarities – the high-flying, the acrobatics, the balance."

Kofi also compared WWE wrestlers to comic book heroes. He said C.M. Punk would be Wolverine and Shawn Michaels would be Cyclops because he's a locker room leader and "been around for quite some time." Kofi interview with Marvel.

-- The Stamford (Conn.) Advocate ran a story on WWE diva Kelly Kelly being mobbed by students at a reading event at a Connecticut school earlier this week. She was joined by Beth Phoenix and Evan Bourne at the event. "The kids here didn't care for me too much," Beth quipped after watching Kelly receive all the attention. You can already see the fruit of Linda McMahon's appointment to the Board of Education in Connecticut with regular appearances from WWE wrestlers to promote literacy. Stamford Advocate article.

-- ZZ Top lead singer Billy Gibbons joked that he can't say his band did a better job hosting WWE Raw than Shaquille O'Neal because Shaq's much larger than he is. Sioux City Journal asked him: "True or False: You were a much better WWE Raw host than Shaquille O’Neal." Gibbons replied: "Because it’s true that Shaq is bigger and stronger than Dusty and me put together, we have no choice but to disagree." ZZ Top interview link.
