WWE Smackdown announcer Jim Ross called last night's PPV a "surprisingly strong Summerslam" card with the exclamation point provided by The Undertaker's surprise return.

Ross said he expects more storyline advancement between new World Hvt. champion C.M. Punk and Jeff Hardy at the Smackdown TV taping on Tuesday night. WWE is advertised Hardy for the taping before he is expected to take a hiatus from WWE.

"So, do I think that we've seen the last of the Jeff-Punk rivalry? I don't know for sure but I 'think' not and more specifically I 'hope' not," Ross said on jrsbarbq.com. "I just have a feeling that Tuesday night in Phoenix will equate to must see TV Friday night on MyNetworkTV for Smackdown viewers."

Ross also talked about a potential competition for the top Raw announce spot. He said he expects Todd Grisham to contend for Michael Cole's position down the road.

"Todd Grisham is still improving daily and I would have to think that with Grisham being the competitor that he is that he will some day want to sit in the chair that I occupied for so long on Monday nights," Ross said. "I realize that ship has apparently sailed for me but through the coming years the competition between Grisham and Cole should be fun to watch."

Ross also previewed the upcoming WWE-themed episode of "Dinner Impossible" scheduled to air in November on the Food Network. Ross filmed the segment very early on Sunday morning before Summerslam along with The Miz and Gail Kim. He added that Stephanie McMahon and The Big Show were involve in non-cooking portions of the episode.
