WWE published a behind-the-scenes video feature on The Miz this weekend that could be a preview of future WWE TV Network programming. The company is currently seeking distribution for their own cable network that is expected to feature similar content.

The video shows Miz giving an "MTV Cribs" style tour of his Los Angeles-area condo, with Miz showing off his game room, collection of wrestling memorabilia, and overall lifestyle.

During yesterday's annual shareholders meeting, WWE CEO Vince McMahon stressed that WWE's programming model for the network will feature content beyond the standard wrestling-based WWE show.

"We're somewhat ready to go out to the marketplace and secure our distribution for our own network. It will give us opportunities to produce more programming than just in-ring programming," McMahon said.

McMahon also stressed that the cable network will be "complementary" to WWE's current wrestling-based shows. WWE's programming will likely be in-line with other cable networks with a variety of programs and settings that highlight WWE talent.

"The opportunities that we have that are not in-ring with other networks is extraordinary. It's not just an in-ring concept that (we) have here, so why not expand that into other (types of) television shows," McMahon said.

Caldwell's Analysis: WWE has dabbled in outside-of-the-ring features and teased that type of programming for NXT without following through, so it will be interesting to see if they go all-out on the new cable network. WWE has plenty of talented wrestlers on the roster who will likely have new opportunities to get over their personalities to "complement" the on-going storylines on regular WWE programming. Miz's cocky tour of his bachelor pad is one sample of what WWE will likely be offering when they are expected to launch the network next year.
