WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase, Jr. has an interview with Matt Fowler of IGN.com promoting Sunday's Over the Limit PPV. DiBiase was mainly in-character for the interview, but covered some newsworthy items.

-- DiBiase said it was surreal walking out to the ring with Virgil on Raw this past Monday after horsing around with him back when Virgil was associated with his dad, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.

"Me walking out there and then just turning around with a smile and there's Virgil. The guy who used to pick me up from school. The guy I used to monkey around with and jump on. I used to bug the crap out of that guy," DiBiase said. "And now he's carrying around the (Million Dollar) belt, pulling the ropes down, opening doors and carrying my bags. It's a great feeling."

-- An interesting trivia note: DiBiase's match against R-Truth at the PPV will be his first singles match on PPV.

-- DiBiase was asked about WWE re-branding PPVs across the board, including the "Over the Limit" PPV being a first-time event on Sunday.

"You know, it's nothing new to be honest with you. It's change. And that's the only thing that stays constant. Change. Over the years they continue to change things. It's just keeping things fresh. I like it," DiBiase said. "I think it will draw people in and I think it will create new avenues. New matches."

Caldwell's Analysis: The PPV name change is just a marketing tool by WWE to sell to their investors and their audience. It still comes down to the creative effort and whether WWE is promoting match-ups people want to pay money to see in the ring. WWE hasn't even tried to explain what the "Over the Limit" PPV title means. It's just a marketing tool after eliminating "Judgment Day," which was one of the late 1990s series of new PPV titles that was created during the Attitude Era. I would be favor of calling each monthly PPV - other than the three pillars of WrestleMania, Summerslam, and the Royal Rumble - by the name of the top match-up. "WWE: Edge vs. Orton" or "WWE: Cena vs. Batista III" could be the title of Sunday's event, with WWE putting all their marketing effort behind the top match-up they believe people will pay money to watch.
