Kaval, the top-ranked NXT Season Two Rookie, says he would like to feud with World Hvt. champion Rey Mysterio after the current season of NXT.

"My ultimate goal is to get my hands on Rey Mysterio," Kaval said in an interview on WWE's website. "Because I think me coming up the way that I did, him proving there’s only a select group or there’s a very rare occasion you have competitors of this size who can reach that plateau of success, he’s the ultimate challenge for me on whether or not I belong here."

Prior to Kaval debuting on WWE TV when the current season of NXT began, there was talk last year of calling him up from FCW developmental to feud with Mysterio on Smackdown.

According to the NXT competition storyline, Kaval would be entitled to a title match on PPV if he wins the contest. It remains to be seen whether WWE would book Mysterio vs. Kaval, assuming Mysterio is still World champion when the NXT season ends.

Also in the interview, Kaval made a disguised reference to his former handle, Low-Ki, when asked about the differences between his character and Lay-Cool, who are his NXT Pros. Kaval commented in-character on the pairing and hit WWE's bullet points on what the company is aiming for trying to develop his character on TV.

"Their personalities are so far over the top. Mine is more reserved and laid back, more low-key. It's definitely one heck of a contrast," Kaval said. "I think because of the dynamic of how far apart we are personality-wise, their mentoring and them trying to draw a little more out of me is eventually going to ultimately make me better."
