WWE wrestler Chris Jericho, who turns 40 later this year, says he doesn't have a time in mind for retiring from pro wrestling. He says he's proud of his current work and he'll know when it's time to retire.

"It's up to me. Physically, I feel great. Mentally, I feel great. Some of the best work of my career I've been doing lately. I really don't have any aspirations of not continuing forward. I also have no aspirations of not continuing with some of the other projects. When it's time for me to leave wrestling, I'll know. As of right now, I still enjoy it. I guess I'll know when it's time to stop, but I don't have any reason to stop right now," Jericho told Arda Ocal on The Score in an interview this week.

On another subject, Jericho was asked a hypothetical question on who he would hire as bookers if he were to start a wrestling promotion. Jericho listed Lance Storm, Don Callis (Cyrus in ECW), and former TNA agent Scott D'Amore.

"I would definitely get away from the guys who are being used right now. It's so cliched and so over-done. It's like there's no one doing anything original right now," Jericho said. "You have to try some guys who have never been given a chance that might have a different spin on things."

-- Jericho said his second autobiography, "Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps," is scheduled for release in February 2011.

-- Jericho commented on the WrestleMania 25 program in 2009 where he opposed the "Legends" trio of Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper, and Jimmy Snuka. Jericho said WWE originally wanted Greg "The Hammer" Valentine in Steamboat's spot, but he lobbied for Steamboat because he felt they needed a good worker, like Steamboat, who could still wrestle past his wrestling days to pull off the match.
