-- PWTorch VIP member Kris Munro of Scotland sent in the following report on Big Show's mainstream TV appearance today promoting WWE's U.K. tour this weekend.

Big Show made a live studio appearance today on Sky Sports News (the 24-hour sports channel here in the U.K.).

The interview started with the basics on WWE's current tour in the U.K. with Big Show in a jovial mood describing himself as seven-feet, 485 pounds of spandex-wielding fury, which drew a lot of laughs from the presenters. Obviously, the major topic was his size, with Show saying he can do most things in life, but one thing he wishes he could do is ride a rollercoaster. He said he is too big to fit on any current ride as far as he is aware.

Show then moved onto talking about "Knucklehead," describing it as a "feel-good family film" while they played a few comedic clips from it. A viewer question asked about the film in comparison to Cena's new film, "Legendary." Big Show basically said his comedy effort was totally different and thinks Cena showed a lot of heart and depth in the role, but that he hoped they both do well.

Show talked briefly about his past training for boxing while clips of Show and Mayweather at WrestleMania 24 were shown. He got a big laugh with a crack about having dated girls bigger than Floyd, but came across as respectful and knowledgeable about boxing in general. This was especially true when the topic of Haye vs. Harrison (an upcoming boxing World Title fight in the U.K.) was raised and he seemed well aware of both fighters. He added that he is happy just to stick to "wearing spandex" rather than having his teeth knocked down his throat by one of them.

Overall, Show came across well, as always, but it was definitely just a brief appearance focused on his movie with only a brief mention of the current U.K. tour.

-- Also in the international media, WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre has an interview with the Press & Journal newspaper in Scotland discussing his return home on the tour. McIntyre mainly talks about growing up a wrestling fan and his journey to WWE.
